Great location; friendly staff; parking nearby. Nothing "fancy" but great boutique hotel. This was my 3rd stay and I will be back. View of the Harbor from French doors that open to a small standing area. Brakfast is availabe and very nice.

As many have already written on TA this hotel is about location: frontal Vieux-Port view from the outside the hotel. You are as central as possible. Rooms are a decent size, modern and split toilet-bathroom. Our room (606) had no view at all as it faced the skylight so there was no opening the window! Breakfast was charged extra and... More

Stayed two nights at the Escale Oceania. Easy access from the Charles Gare station. Had a nice view of the Vieux Port from my room. Numerous restaurants in the immediate area. Within walking distance of several museums. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had a wide assortment of food - cold cereals, yogurt, cheese, bread, pastries, eggs, and meat. Would... More

Hotel is superbly situated at the end of the main high street with our room giving a sideways view of the old port. We were on the 4th floor with a balcony which overlooked the cathedral side of the port. Water in the room would have been a nice touch as there was no bar in the hotel or mini... More

This hotel is right on the old port, so a stroll along the waterfront is just steps from the front door. We were very lucky and got a huge room (605) on the top floor that had a great view of Notre Dame de la Garde. Wifi was free, breakfast was not, so we grabbed breakfast in the street. If... More

After choosing location (perfect for our preferences in this case- an easy walk from the station, set in reach of the most interesting parts of the city for a first time visitor) the key performance indicators are strength of wifi, quality of the bed, shower and breakfast, friendliness and helpfulfullness of staff, and size of room, roughly in that order. Escale... More

It may be located in an old building, with typical old stairs, and small rooms with iron balconies, but they have created very clean and comfortable accommodation. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom brilliantly clean, with a walk-in modern shower. And the breakfast was a surprise too, with more than you could want - not just bread and... More
