Pleasant week at Radisson Blu Old Port;
This new stay allowed us to discover a completely renovated lobby where it is possible, in a pleasant setting, to meet to discuss, to wait comfortably seated or even to work on his PC in the space provided for this purpose. The volume of the new lobby already suggests the comfort that awaits you in your room such as the quality of the restaurant and its terrace overlooking the Old Port. This first Impression is quickly confirmed during your stay: renovated rooms, quality of the Breakfast buffet as well as dishes proposed for lunch or in the evening, excellent welcome of the staff always ready to respond, with a smile, to your requests.
In short, the Radisson Blu Marseille remains our favourite Pension during our stays in the Phocaean city. And it will undoubtedly be yours.

We were disappointed with our stay. Although the reserved suite had a pleasant view of the harbour, the room cleaning service left something to be desired. Do not stay at this hotel. I made the mistake of booking through a travel agent through Expedia. My stay was prepaid. When we arrived, the room and furniture was dirty and old. It was not a premium room that I had reserved. The staff who understood English at check in pretended not to speak English when I complained. They tried to bill me an extra $50 per night to change to a different room that was cleaner. But, the air conditioner did not work and the refrigerator was not cool enough to keep my insulin cold. We had no choice but stay because we could not find a different location, we had two excursions already booked, and they would not refund my money. They would not refund my money when we checked out early. Expedia is not refunding my money. We had to cancel one of our excursions. It was a terrible experience in an otherwise magical trip to Europe with my son.

What can I say other than Bryan at Reception made our visit an experience to remember. We checked in late after travelling by road from Florence, Italy. Bryan made the check in process really easy and he was full of extremely useful tips and information for our stay in Marseille. The hotel was fantastic. Clean spacious comfortable room with a big bathroom, amazing swimming pool & the breakfast was also amazing. This hotel is well located as well with a safe & secure car park right next door which you receive a 15% discount when a guest in the hotel.
When visiting in Marseille, this Radisson Blu is the hotel to stay at! Thank you Bryan for all your help & the Radisson Blu should recognise Bryan for how wonderful he is.

This time we had an excellent reason to go to Marseille, our favorite city and thus enjoy our favorite hotel. Even more attractive because it is freshly renovated; sober but very elegant rooms in their shade of gray and tasteful decoration, even in the bathroom. Sumptuous bedding that encourages naptime and comfortable space down to details like an excellent coffee machine. As for the breakfast buffet: always so well stocked and appetizing. Friendly and efficient staff with an omnipresent Director.
The plus this time was the large window overlooking the Old Port which allowed us to follow live the moving arrival of the Belem bringing the Olympic Flame.
We were able to follow this unique spectacle “far from the madding crowd”; we couldn't have dreamed of a better location than our balcony to take part in the "fiesta".
However, it will not be necessary to invoke another national demonstration for us to return to this magnificent hotel to declare my Flame!!

We stayed for 3 nights over the European Rugby Cup Final weekend (added bonus that La Rochelle were also staying). The location is perfect - right on the quay but far enough away form the main bars and clubs for it to be quiet in the evening. Easy to walk anywhere, including the trams and metro.
The staff were great and attentive.
The room was fine apart from the cleaners would leave the windows open to "air the room" - unfortunately this let in all the flies and mosquitos and so were were both bitten a lot during the night. A bit silly really. Oh, and we had to keep asking for water to be left (free to members).
The biggest problem was there was no/ intermittent wifi in the room (640). Clicking on the room connection didn't work (good signal but no internet) and "Guest Radisson" would only work occassionally. We raised this with the front desk on Friday and Saturday (twice) and it still was not resolved. It worked fine in the rest of the hotel but we had "the wifi black hole" in our room.
Wifi aside, it is a great hotel with great staff - just make sure you really press home the wifi thing if it doesn't work.

I have done a lot of travel and stayed at all types of hotels without complaint. The Radisson Blu in Marseille was astonishingly bad. From someone’s old dishes in front of my room door when I arrived, to the beat up walls and furniture and bashed in and stained lampshades it was an unpleasant experience. I was told that I must I understand that it is an old hotel and that they will be renovating soon (which doesn’t help me now.) When I showed the front desk the bashed in and stained lampshades, I was told that I had a premium room and there was no other room available. Huh? If this is how they take care of their premium clients, I would hate to see the accommodations for regular people. The dirty dishes were still there in front of my room hours later. The utter disregard for current customers won’t be fixed by a remodel. I won’t be returning.

A great location at the port side, very clean and good facilities, well maintained. We had to deduct points for the hot part of the breakfast, although a great continental spread, the hot food was dull, cold sausages, cold scrambled eggs. Overall a good choice for a weekend break.

I spent 2 nights in Radisson Blu Marseille Vieux Port for business purposes. Hotel has a good location in the Vieux Port, and that's why we choose this hotel. Everything was going well till my 2 jackets disappeared. Both jackets were inside my suit bag placed inside the wardrobe (next to the iron/ironing table). When I did my check out at 4h30am I forgot the suit bag in the room and 30 min later, when I was going to the airport I called to the hotel reception in order to inform them that my suit bag was in my room. They asked me to send email (which I did), and they promised to come back to me. Nobody came back, and after 3 or 4 emails and 5 or 6 phone calls, they finally replied to me saying that they couldn't find my jackets. I'm not pleased at all, moreover knowing that i contacted the hotel around 5am (30min after my check out) to warn them about my suit bag left on the room. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.
