A quiet inn, the rooms with loggia or balcony are a little outdated but charming with good bedding and very clean, beautiful view of the valley, you feel at home.
Of course we came to the Madone for the brothers, one officiating in the kitchen, the other making our mouths water by serving us a gastronomic menu worthy of the vaunted delights. The sweetness of red fruits to die for. Inimitable service where we had to discover all the aromatics, the sweetness of the terrace, the conviviality, the earthiness of the host, an unforgettable moment of sharing. Breakfast in the same vein, under the sun, this preserved village and above all this hospitality.
Treat yourself to absolute romance less than half an hour from Nice and should be listed in Michelin with more than a gourmet beep!

I highly recommend this little taste break away from everything and which brings you closer.

The hotel has a certain charm the welcome is smiling , beautiful space beautiful terrace nice view of the valley.
The Provencal room we needed would need a refreshing narrow bed shower without curtains and mold.
Room smaller than advertised.
The staff is friendly, but outnumbered... the meal lasted 3 hours!!!
Quiet terrace and pleasant view, the interior is simply obsolete, old and charmless.
For the sum of 65€ per person we ate:
An amuse bouche the size of a euro coin... ridiculous!
A credit card-sized slice of pan-fried foie gras with pear and red fruits, not extraordinary
3 small lamb chops with 2 tablespoons puree
A kind of foam supposedly sabayon with a pear, yes again ... and a biscuit dripping with alcohol ... inedible!!!
With a moresque and a kir as an aperitif we paid 144€!!!!! A shame!!!
When a restaurant displays the term gastronomy, you must assume it! Setting, service and food must be up to the task, in this hostel we are very far from it!
We are used to discovering restaurants in the area, this is really the first time we ate so badly at an exorbitant price! We will never go back!
We had an aperitif which was served without an amuse bouche. The meal is of good quality but the price is excessive for the quantity: the starter, excellent homemade pissaladière but half part; the meat, veal, excellent but 4 small pieces and the polenta 2 tablespoons; the average dessert. The meal is very well sold by the waiter but is not up to par, if you wanted fish you had to add 5 euros! Finally we are disappointed.

"Take Alltrails' walk from the hotel to Monaco. Beautiful, with some challenging elevations & descents in the summer heat. Go spring/aut. Wait for the view of the sea!"Read full review
