This town is 2 hours travel from our ultimate destination so an ideal stop over from the travel from the UK. Hotel nicely located, a swimming pool is nearing completion which would have been a marvellous cooling off point after a day in the summer heat in a car. The hosts were very accommodating when we asked if there was an evening meal they said they do not usually offer a meal on Friday evening but for us they would. We had a very nice steak & chips with local red wine excellent and far better than our previous night's experience in a chain of steak houses in Troyes.
Breakfast again was excellent and we set off for our final holiday destination relaxed and well fed.
Thank you for a wonderful one night stay.

For my part I booked on the hotel website directly and at first was surprised at the current promotion (57 € per night, while on booking it is 63 € supposedly promo...)
In short, an impeccable welcome, by a young girl (smile and advice)
A very clean room, very comfortable bedding, and above all a superb and very complete breakfast. The hotelier regularly ensures that everything is there, all the time.
If I had to say again it would be perhaps on the size of the bathroom (although here no plastic sink like boat cabin), but with a spacious shower.
Note that hot water takes time to arrive but just know it.
And the road behind which it is true is busy, but did not stop me from sleeping. (All hotels of this type are close to nationals and around.)
For my part I was pleasantly surprised and I will not hesitate to go back.

Despite a very cheap price, a friendly welcome and a restaurant and breakfast of a very decent standard, this hotel suffers in my opinion from two major faults: noise - with the proximity of the very busy road to Marseille. If your room is on this side, ask to change because frankly it is very annoying and it rolls all night. The soundproofing of the window is very insufficient.
Second subject: the very unpleasant odors that come up from the bathroom pipes. Certainly the rain, ... but hey, a hotel room where there is a nauseating smell and where the noise of vehicles is incessant, it is far from being a cocoon that will become a second home.

The day got away from us as we were driving along and realized .... we were tired and needed a place to stay!

The sign along the highway jumped out and all was well.

The room was very clean and the staff wonderfully friendly.

Breakfast the next morning was better than the dinner, but that's a matter of personal taste.
