In the center of Salon de Provence, this 18th century property was previously called Le Clos des Anges, then Le Mas du Soleil. This establishment, renowned and dear to the inhabitants of the region, will soon be renamed Le Clos du Soleil. In the city of Nostradamus, this building with Italian accents is now a charming hotel where life is good... Very welcoming and available hosts, this is what we can read in many comments, we confirm!!
A delight in the restaurant, very fine dishes, we feel that cooking is a passion for the chef, everything was delicious, really! A cellar stocked with very good wines, great discoveries, and an owner who is also inexhaustible and passionate.
A breakfast with homemade breads and pastries, scrambled or fried eggs are offered.
Very well appointed room, beautiful decor, spacious, very comfortable bedding, everything is provided, from the hairdryer to the magnifying mirror. Separate toilets, very good point because this is becoming rare in hotels.
Small hotel with 9 or 10 rooms, that's what we usually look for. Very good, quiet location, but only 5 minutes walk from Salon town center. The hotel has parking and a swimming pool open during the warm season.
Another good point; our 2 dogs were very well received and accepted at the restaurant. We had of course informed the hotel when booking, and without us having to ask, a room on the ground floor was allocated to us so that it would be more convenient for us to take them out (thank you for this delicate attention! ) Our dogs are calm and do not bother the other guests, this is important to emphasize, it would not occur to us to bring them to the hotel if they were not obedient. (They thank you for the pieces of cheese to help with medication for one of them😀)
We stayed 2 nights in this hotel, we loved everything! Don't hesitate, you can't help but enjoy this place, a very good base for visiting beautiful Provence 🥰
Thank you both for making this stay even more beautiful, we hope to come back to see you

The first thing I said when I came into our room was: "This is how I want our bedroom to look at home." Just like the bathroom, everything was in white and cream/brown tones, minimalist, with a few highlights and just extremely tasteful.
In addition, our every wish was anticipated: aperitifs by the pool - no problem. Recommendations and reservations for a restaurant - no problem. And always super friendly with a beaming smile ☺️.
It's a shame that we were there on a Saturday and the highly praised kitchen was closed. We'll have to come back 😉

Beautiful charming address 5 minutes walk from the historic center.
Perfect welcome by the very attentive owner couple.
Large room overlooking the garden, quiet, with soaps and products from the local soap factory (rampal latour).
The patios are very pleasant with a pretty swimming pool nestled in the greenery.
Dinner with beautiful products.
We will come back without hesitation.

Excellent stay at Mas Angelussi. The rooms are spacious, the swimming pool very large, the setting relaxing and very beautiful. I advise you to eat there in the evening, the cook is very talented and offers seasonal products. The hosts are remarkably kind and do their work with passion.

While passing through this city we stopped at this hotel. The boss “Estelle” is incredibly kind, generous, refined and helpful!
In the evening we ate a crusty chateaubriand with mushrooms on the terrace. An incredibly tender piece surrounded by a most flattering mushroom paste accompanied by vegetables sautéed in their juices. It was incredibly good and well presented.
Alain, her husband, will give you an oenology lesson, wine being his passion.
The hotel bedding was "great". We slept very well, peacefully.
A place to recommend!

Beautiful stay. The owners are totally attentive to their customers. Lots of little touches as soon as we arrive. The room is spacious, the bed is King size. Cleaning is done daily with respect for nature. The pool and relax, private parking. Dinners made with fresh and quality products. Breakfast served at the table with fresh sweet and savoury products. In short, an address to remember.

We stayed with our two daughters in this very quiet and very well located hotel. Excellent welcome upon arrival with constant attention. Comfortable room, breakfasts with homemade preparations (special dedication for fried eggs and pastries). Thank you to the entire team and owners committed to excellence.

We spent a few days in this magnificent hotel. Everything is perfect, the place is so peaceful and at the same time very close to the city center on foot. The decoration is neat and the swimming pool is a place that we have almost never left, because the place is so conducive to relaxation. The rooms are spacious, and everything has been thought of to make the stay perfect.
Estelle delighted us with her cooking and all her delicate touches. Alain, passionate about oenology, introduced us to wine and took us on a journey with all his knowledge.
It will be with pleasure that we come back for a stopover during our stays in the south.

Second stay in this hotel and we still feel good there.
The rooms are spacious and finely decorated.
The hotel is very well located, 2 minutes walk from the city center and the calm is absolute.
Very good breakfast served by the owner with fresh products.
The dinner is worth the detour prepared by Chef Estelle.
We will come back
