My wife, sister, brother-in-law and father (age 82) spent three wonderful days at Mas de l'Amarine. Alice, Bernard and the whole staff were wonderful. Michel did a fantastic job picking local wines for us and Bernard's cooking is fantastic. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool is lovely as is the outside dining area. Convenient to St. Remy and...

What a treat in the heart of Provence. Alice and Bernard are excellent hosts and delight their guests with the best breakfast we've ever had, the dinner is also beyond beyond. The grounds are fantastic, very private. The rooms are cool, with a treasure to be found around every corner. It would be a shame to not mention the pool...

I stayed at this exceedingly charming mas with my partner for four nights at the beginning of October. We were greeted by Alice, the sweet and energetic host/owner, who gave us a quick tour of the property before showing us to our room. We stayed in a "Superior room" - the Chambre Violette - which was quite spacious and had...

A local St Remy traiteur told us to go...we almost didn't but so glad we did. The decor is startlingly interesting, cutlery and crockery quirky but practical and only bettered by the delicious food. The staff have just the right amount of pizzaz and know their product .A delightfully delicious evening. The night was complimented by a diner at another table...

Lovely welcome by Alice and what a beautiful setting close to St Remy. The rooms are very nicely decorated and a bit different than what you can usely expect in a normal hotel. Beautiful site, beautiful "Mas", terrible food and service. The " SPECTACULAIRE", this is the word the owner used to describe the dinner we were suppose to have when I called to be sure everything will be perfect for my clients. What a deception, the little appetizer was decent, the main dish was ridiculous, and the dessert was a joke. All...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to the rebellious alchemy of a modern inn Savour every moment of a rare and simple truth, a thousand thoughtful attentions and a host of sophisticated details. The old farmhouse, a timeless artwork set amid century-old trees and the sunny scents of countless flowers, invites you to discover its creative originality. The house, decorated by artist Roger Bezombes in the 1950s, is a riot of colourful mosaics and unusual curiosities. Like the painter's chosen palette, the three rooms and two spacious suites are bright and richly sensual. Each has its own elegant personality to fire a guest's imagination. The restaurant too is a magic place. Bernard's originality and humour infuse his spontaneous cuisine, inspired by the quality of the local produce he uses. The carefully-selected wines are gems that add a scintillating final touch. We cultivate the arts of hospitality and sharing. ... more   less
