Well located hotel, lakeside with sauna, jacuzzi and heated indoor swimming pool. All-you-can-eat breakfast that can be taken on the terrace with a view of the lake. Spacious and clean room with balcony. The only downside was that the second bed was not made.

We stayed one night in this hotel in a superior room.
Good bedding.

This hotel, which we knew from two beautiful trouble-free stays in 2014 and 2015, has suffered an obvious deterioration in comfort and service.
The room, spacious enough (although we knew better in this establishment), was never properly cleaned, with dust everywhere, and the vacuum was never vacuumed on the carpet for a 6 night stay.
For two days the liquid soap in the bathroom was not replaced and the location of the latter remained empty. The first day we managed with the liquid soap we had taken in unbaggage for picnics (!), the second I had to pick up the person who took care of the house to ask for soap.
Moreover, we fully understand the issues for the preservation of the planet that the establishment highlights in its various sheets and leaflets, but we have the strong impression that, in this case, it is rather a pretext to save on the backs of customers, despite the price of the room. The air conditioning was too tight: when you pay such a price you are entitled to sleep well and not suffer for the night heat, especially since the air conditioning was very strong in the entrance hall and reception. Same for the sheets, changed after 5 nights, despite the night sweat due to the heat.
To top it all off, the check-out was painful, without any kindness or attention, without inquiring about customer satisfaction or not.
Disappointed and sure we will not return to this hotel, which I do not recommend.

There was no sauna & the masseuse is also the person whom checked us in. The room was alright. The internet and signal was horrible. The sauna was closed. We stayed with our newborn it was alright but we would have loved for amenities & facilities to be better like the sauna to be working, the breakfast outside to be free from bird droppings & a massage that we would be asked about our pressure and not feel like we're getting scolding when we ask about the pressure.

Smiling and very welcoming staff, spacious room, comfortable bedding, the jacuzzi and the swimming pool are in perfect symbiosis of temperature. The breakfast is very very complete, rarely seen so much choice (the fruit cake is sublime). Very decent dinner.

Hotel very well located at the entrance to Aix-les-Bains and a few meters from the lake and the cinema. The suite is very comfortable and the services are top notch (heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, massages and fitness room). I really enjoyed being able to relax in the evening when I arrived as well as in the morning while enjoying the swimming pool. The restaurant is very good (although a little expensive) and the breakfast is very complete. The room has a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake, which must be great in summer. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. Small downside on the fairly poor soundproofing in the room.

The fitness room is unusable, poorly designed equipment, screens not even turned on. The swimming pool is overheated (like 35 degrees) as is the entire hotel, it's an environmental aberration! Few decent bars or restaurants nearby, more tourist traps. On the other hand, very good bedding but as the room is overheated, either turn on the air conditioning but when it's 15 degrees outside that doesn't make sense, or open the window but suddenly there is noise.

If by 29-32 C heat in shade and you're looking for a hotel without the promised air conditioning, you'll make the right choice by booking a room at the Best Western Aquakub Hotel, in Aix le Bains.
If you're looking for a hotel with non-functional wi-fi, you‘ll make the right choice.
At reception you will only hear lame excuses - we are working on it, there are not enough spare parts to fix the air conditioning, we can't do anything at the moment, there are no otherf vacant rooms.
If on your words that your elderly parents of 85 and 81 years old are suffiring in the room from the heat and want to hear pathetic excuses and in the back of you laughing reception staff, then you need definitely to this hotel.
I am not talking about the fact that many sockets in the rooms do not work, in the bathroom there is not a single towel for hands, it is impossible to call from the room - there is a call, but voices are not heard, that the hotel does not change the second day burned out bulb in the corridor at the wardrobe, that in the room for two persons there are only 5 hangers for clothes and they at your request do not add them, then it means that you - masochists and you luke torture..
We have made Booking.com aware of these glaring shortcomings and want travellers on other platforms to stay away from this hotel.

Original hotel with panoramic restaurant in Aix les Bains, the truth is that we only stayed one night as we were stopping over to northern Europe but we thought it was a magnificent option. Very friendly staff and excellent location (if you don't want tranquility). A few meters from the lake and with exceptional treatment. Good restaurant with panoramic views and good cuisine. Without a doubt if one day we have to return to Aix les Bains we would stay in the same hotel again.
