We stayed here for a couple of nights in early June when the area wasn't busy. We had a large room on the 3rd floor which was basically furnished with a good sized shower room. The little balcony looked out over the street and "59" apparently one of the best restaurants in France. The hotel is centrally located which served our purpose very well and has some car parking which we also needed. The service was friendly and efficient. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but it looked OK from what I say being served to other guests.
Not a spectacular hotel but good for the price, clean and comfortable.

W had been delayed by over 6 hours following a chemical incident in a railway tunnel near Modena so this was emergency accommodation following this delay, other than the room being cold everything fine especially the breakfast. the place definitely has character.

We were very happy to come across this hotel in the middle of town. We appreciate the "old" part of it although some might not. Our room was large which made it easy to adjust our luggage. It offered a good breakfast and helpful staff.

Hotel is rather basic, although clean. Its saving grace is it's position which is right opposite one of THE best restaurants in France!! Clean rooms but very tired decor, no aircon or double glazing & very noisy.

I attended a convention in Aix les Bains and the Hotel Bristol was on the list of recommended hotels of the convention website. The hotel is a classic frensh type of hotel with a lot of traditonal flair. The service was excellent. Since the temperatures were close to 30C, the non-availability of A/C in the room was an issue. It started to cool down past 2am in the morning. In the morning, there was a nice classic frensh type of breakfirst in a great breakfirst hall. I was a nice stay there.

We booked a week at this hotel considering that it would have basic comfort and cleanliness. When we arrived, we were pretty disappointed regarding the lack of maintnance: the toilets were dirty (urine stains if I go into details), the room had an unpleasant smell (like when you enter a public bathroom), the curtains didn't have a proper mecanism (we had to pull some kind of rope to open them) and most important of all: on a 40 degres celsuis day in France, the room was artificially heated and the only source of AC was a fan.
Also one last thing that I want to say is an advice: if I didn't convince you to cancel you stay at this hotel, I recommand you to avoid paying 10 euros for their breakfist knowing that a douzen restaurants which surround the hotel offer a better breakfist formula for less than 7 euros.

I stayed here for a few nights in October. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the station and about 1 minute (if that) from the Casino and centre of town. My room was pretty big for a French hotel and the bed and bathroom were fine. No complaints but in the corridors there are random pieces of material stuck to the walls (covering holes?) and some blocking the stairs up to the top floor so I think the hotel definitely needs some renovation. Breakfast was good and the dining room is massive so no problems getting a table.
