The Hôtel Villa Marlioz is commended for its friendly and professional staff, with the lifeguard and reception earning particular praise, although there are some inconsistencies in service noted. Nestled in a convenient and beautiful location, the hotel offers a mix of renovated and outdated rooms, with the cleanliness of both being consistently applauded. While the quiet atmosphere and spa amenities are a highlight for many guests, some feel that the hotel's overall ambiance and facilities could benefit from modern updates. Opinions on value for money are divided, with some guests finding the pricing reasonable despite the mentioned drawbacks.

I spent 3 very nice days in this Hotel-Spa.
It is located not very far from Aix-les-Bains (5 minutes from the center) in a very quiet setting.
The staff is smiling and does their job well.
The rooms are clean and the maids do a good job of cleaning.
All that's missing is a fridge (mini-bar), which avoids having to go down to the bar and also being able to store some local food/specialties purchased in the stores during your stay.
The breakfast is quite ok, we have quite a choice.
My wife benefited from the care which did her a lot of good.
There is a swimming pool with nozzles which are a little weak; they lack a little pressure.
So yes, you should think about reserving dinner if you have not taken the half-board option.
And the meal is absolutely fine for the price, we ate much worse in the restaurants in Aix which were also more expensive!
Otherwise it's a good 3 star, the Hotel has ample parking.

We stayed 4 days in this hotel with my sister on a full board basis with a spa treatment. We had a very warm welcome, whether at reception, at the restaurant or at the spa. At the spa, a special thank you to Véronique who knew how to put us at ease and who is very pleasant and warm. The meals are well balanced. The breakfast buffet is well stocked. The waiter at the bar is very friendly and makes good cocktails. The swimming pool is clean and has a pleasant temperature. The spa waiting room is also clean and you can drink a little herbal tea while waiting for your treatment. You also have a gym at your disposal. You also have a bus not far from the hotel to go to town or to Lake Bourget for example. The only downside is for the rooms where a small kettle is missing. I recommend this hotel, very friendly people

Stay with friends for a relaxing weekend from April 27 to 28.

A hotel whose interior aesthetic does not appeal to me. It would be nice to have a little freshness!

That said, the cleanliness is remarkable, a real pleasure.

In the evening, the parking lot and the exterior of the hotel are not lit, however, the night watchman, who is helpful and kind, remains at our disposal because the gate does not open remotely. Thanks to him.

The room is spacious and has a small terrace on the garden side, offering a magnificent view of part of the mountain. Is the lack of heat in the bedroom due to an insulation problem or the absence of heating? We left the towel dryer on overnight to compensate...

The reception staff, both day and night, are friendly and smiling.

The catering is good, the dishes are appetizing and nicely presented.

Although the staff is friendly and smiling, we regret a lack of experience or self-confidence. If you ask servers, they often prefer to ask their manager's opinion rather than answer directly.

The director is not in his best form, this happens from time to time. However, customers don't have to feel this way. It is important not to show your dissatisfaction with the staff in front of customers.

Care: not tested unfortunately. No more slots available. Remember to book when you arrive

Bar: we have not tested. L
The staff we met seemed very friendly. A great team.

1 Hammam and sauna available plus very well maintained swimming pool, there are few jets and the pressure is not powerful.

Indoor and outdoor deckchairs available. Florian, the lifeguard, finds satisfaction in delighting the customers, which is expressed by his kindness, his thoughtfulness, his informed suggestions and his warm smile. It is not limited to providing simple surveillance or simply being present, as we can see in other places. It's nice to see that people care about our well-being.

We came for the first time to this hotel for 3 weeks (spa treatment). We were pampered there: large room at the TOP with an entrance with a small sofa bed, a bathroom, a separate toilet and a very nice little kitchenette (sink, refrigerator and shelves) and a pretty balcony which allowed us to admire the magnificent view of the Dent du Chat. The room was spotless every day (thanks to our housekeeper).
The hotel is well located high up, close to the city center with a pleasant garden. Pretty indoor swimming pool and SPA.
The breakfast buffet is very varied. We had half board and also enjoyed the restaurant. (2 choices for starter, main course and dessert).
We were delighted with our stay and plan to return next year. On the other hand, the hotel must be renovated and it is planned to remove the kitchenette area... I admit that for us, it is a minus...
Thank you to the whole team for their welcome.

A pleasant and quiet stay in spacious rooms. A bathrobe to access the spa to relax.

Half board with varied menus for a plate service.
the choice with 2 starters including a soup, 2 courses: meat or fish, 2 desserts including 1 plate of cheese.
An efficient service with friendly waitresses.
A buffet breakfast with delicious apple juice.
The hotel has a 7kw terminal that I have not been able to make work with my chargemap map but the marlioz park offers 2 150kw terminals, 4 100kw terminals and 1 22kw terminal. The city of Aix is equipped with many posts.

Stay 2 nights rather pleasant overall but hotel which is very aging a good lick of paint would be welcome to allow total well-being as well as in the reception room. Nice bar area. Regarding the half board quantity level depending on the arrival time there was no dessert left despite the waiters' invitation to ask them directly if we wanted anything else. rather limited menu. the wine and additional suggestions are quite expensive and the result is not exceptional for the price, even if you want a drink at the bar. Damage .
Otherwise very good bedding, helpful and friendly staff. Very friendly hotel users.
Access possible with a baby travel cot placed in the room.
Pleasant swimming pool

3 star hotel but no air conditioning in the rooms especially during the heatwave, so you open the windows and it's the mosquitoes that make you have a horrible night!!!
In addition, the restaurant is not quite up to par, especially when they announce a dessert buffet and there is nothing… (photo)
Otherwise the staff is very very friendly and the rooms are clean. The swimming pool is pleasant (especially in the middle of a heatwave).

There were some problems at the beginning of our stay, then it came back in order.
We ate the first evening at the restaurant, the dish of the day was okay but a little light in quantity, but the beef piece was full of fat and not very good. Also we did not repeat the experiment. Breakfast overall is hearty and good. The restaurant staff is unprofessional, but nice overall.
The room was large and spacious, the bedding good. The bathroom is a little small, but the toilet is separate. The hair dryer is really not practical! The maid was very kind and efficient.
It would require breezes seen on the balconies between each room.
The pool is large and nice, as well as the terrace. Nice lifeguard.
Too bad there is no storage room for bicycles.

A 3 star??? It’s a shame for hotels that are really 3 stars!!! The building is old, cracking, the plaster is decomposing. Inside the decor dates from the 80s, carpets, curtains, velvet and salmon are there. The room is worthy of a basic Ibis, even the bathroom products are basic… no mini bar, TV from the 2000s for a spa hotel, we expect a lot of shabby services… the spa side is also very old, the door frames are damaged, the salmon and beige colors are sad… access to the jacuzzi for €27?!!!!!! Even the gym, the bikes don't work properly…
Not forgetting the bar which closes at 10 p.m.!! Good evening !

Bonjour, Il y a une terrasse au niveau de la piscine disposant de transats en libre accès depuis le parc. Elle est bien exposée car, du fait de sa grande taille, par beau temps, selon l'emplacement vous trouverez toujours un transat au soleil.
