really nice hotel, with great great service!! chimney in the room, which was fantastic :) large rooms! cool bathrooms, with an inside window into the room! elevators and villas don't work without a card so must keep it with you at all times, which is a slight inconvenience but generally really nice hotel!

We stayed in the Suite Martine because we needed three rooms and it was wonderful. However, the service was even better. They exceeded our expectations in amost every category and we are all pretty discriminating! We had stayed in with them one summer several years ago and already had our hopes pretty high. This winter visit was even better! Unlike...

We just came back from a 5 night stay at Hameau Albert 1er. This a beautiful hotel with unforgettable views of Mont Blanc, luxurious accommodations, and implacable service. Very convenient location -right in the town center. We stayed at the La Ferme building which is very unique, reminds you of an old farmhouse but yet very updated. Our room was...

We have stayed here a few times and eaten at the Maison Carrier even more. As a hotel it is first class. Reading some of the less good reviews is perhaps not seeing what this hotel is. To me this is an old school type French hotel. Based around a superb restaurant (2 of them) with some deluxe rooms and...

We stayed a week at the hotel - in the Grepon chalet - family of 4. It was very comfortable and the style/amenities were very modern and of good quality (even though a little thing - I noticed they provided a really powerful hairdryer which is definitely a first for me in a hotel!). The hotel location is very convenient...

Really nice hotel. Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable and the bathroom is spacious. Hotel grounds are very nice. They have a ski locker room on the basement floor that exits out to the back where the staff can drive you to the different lifts. The bar area is nice and the bar tender is super-friendly. In fact all the...

Few minutes walk into town centre. Charming and helpful Staff, not least to park the car :-). Loved the Carrier Restaurant. Not so much le Maison de Savoie. Traditional cuisine and the wine dramatically over-priced. I do detest having to pay for breakfast, although the quality was excellent ! Only room negative are the incredibly complicated light switches. Yes, it's...

Great hospitality! Lovely and large room. Very large terrace, Spa tub, bathroom. The hotel driver(s) are prompt, courteous, flexible and a pleasure to ride to the ski lifts both to and from. Nice breakfast but expensive. The staff were great - again, courteous, flexible, pleasant, good humored... The only downside was my inability to participate in the wine degustation lunch...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the foot of mont Blanc, Pierre Carrier, Perrine and Grand Chef Pierre Maillet have taken over this hotel, devoted to exceptional cuisine and local delicacies, founded in 1903 by 'great grandfather Carrier'. The rooms in the main hotel or the chalets in the garden offer both modern and warm comfort. On the one hand, there is the superb menu at the Albert 1er with its elaborate recipes influenced by the Piedmont and Liguria and, on the other, the Maison Carrier restaurant with its specilaities to be enjoyed in the atmosphere of an old farmhouse or on the terrace while gazing out at the majestic beauty of mont Blanc. The indoor/outdoor swimming pool also boasts views of the eternal snows on the roof of Europe. An equally stunning and delicious address for winter or summer stay. ... more   less
