          Had a lovey week in chamonix at this great hotel. Very impressed with the views, the food, the quality of service and the attitude of the staff who went out of their way to help. Would stay again. Loved it

          No, not in the rooms but downstairs in the dining room you can make yourself tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc at any time during the day.

          I've read that is mandatory to move round at dinner and you can't sit with your partner/family etc

          They will move you around if you wish but generally people stayed at the same tables. We were in a party of 9 so had a table to ourselves every night.
