The manager of this hotel is so helpful, breakfast is wonderful, where you can boil your own egg and have two cups of coffee. There are BATHTUBS, and I was fortunate to have a balcony. The rooms were simple but comfortable. It is mainly a hotel for French tourists, so it gives some local color. It is 50 meters from... More

The accomodation is located spot on in the centre of Chamonix. The lady was very corteous and left us 3 complimentary bottles of water. The room was not very big but compact, clean and comfortable. Wifi was great and private parking was easily available.

We stayed in the lowest season at a good price. Liked the small family-owned hotel a lot. Very compact room #5 but amusingly functional, like in a small cabinsailingboat. Centrally located. View of Mont Blanc. Owner un-french laid-back type of person, yet friendly and helpful. Age permitting we would like another short stay.

Clean and welcoming hotel in the centre of Chamonix. Fantastic location, easy walk to Brevent lift, town centre, bars & restaurants. The rooms (3 & 4) were compact but perfect for our requirements. Spotlessly clean and warm. Had room for a cot. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. Will definitely stay there again.

Nine of us arrived at Hotel du Clocher at around midnight on Thursday 9th Jan - Christian was there to welcome us and was very helpful and friendly. The four rooms were all pleasant, clean and tidy. The rooms on the third floor are a little cramped but they are in the eaves of the house and the hobbit-ness adds... More

Rooms are separated by paper walls so you can even hear other people breathing while sleeping, owner is extremely rude and he shouts and screams, he said "shut up" to my 4 years old. He shouted at us at 9 am because kids were noisy while he let people check in and disturb us at 3:00 am. Yes someone knocked... More

We just came back from Chamonix where we stayed one night at this hotel. It was the most horrible experience I ever had in any hotel. At 3:30 am someone knocked at my door, it was another guest from the room next door who checked in at that hour. After that they started having "a good time" with an extremely... More

We recently stayed here for a few nights. Our room was on the second floor. No lift. You have to be a midget to get through the door. It's only about 4 ft. high. The room was very cramped. The bathroom was adequate. You could, however, see Mont Blanc from the bedroom window. Having said all that we enjoyed a... More

Small hotel with a car park in a very good location. We had a room next to reception on the ground floor and initially thought it might be noisy but we slept fine. It was compact and the ensuite was tiny (a bit like the pods at F1 hotels). But it was very clean and comfortable. Everyone was helpful and... More
