Beat the chalet politics in a great little hotel. Breakfast spot on plenty of choice. Quiet bar but both the slopes and the restaurants and bars of 1650 are minutes away. Yes the decor of the room was a tad 80's but I think other rooms are being gentrified. To be fair the bed was so comfortable and telly had...

The Edelweiss has been done up superbly and is a charming family run hotel - perfect for couples, families, friends and near the slopes. It has a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and the refurbished rooms are gorgeous with very comfortable beds. There is an excellent choice for breakfast and the rooms provide all the facilities that you would expect from a...

We will return as this is a good base to ski from and the recent refurb is to a high standard - it's not a 2 star feel but is rated the low because it hasn't got a restaurant - which we saw as a plus....

Nice clean hotel in great location. Not a lot happening in the evening time but close to a number of other lively bars.....very close to gondala. 1650 prices ok but 1850 extorniate and only for the very well heeled! Massive ski area and well worth investing in the 3 valley ski pass which allows you explore the vast terrain available...

Fantastic hotel with superb and friendly customer service by Bruno and his family. Close to slopes of 1650 and within easy reach of shuttle bus to 1850. Recently upgraded studio and has everything you need for a self-catered stay. Fantastic breakfast to help you start your day.

Overall good value for money. Facilities adequate, rooms and bathrooms small, limited breakfast but for the money the location was perfect, the manager very friendly and helpful. On a limited budget you get excellent location a perfectly adequate and suitable hotel.

We were having a quick visit and were very pleased with this hotel. Great location, very clean, the rooms were a good size and they provided everything that you would require in a bedroom. I would say that the only disadvantage was that we had to lug our very heavy suitcases down 2 floors to our bedrooms but that was...

“Book one of the refurbished rooms if you can....well worth the extra expense. Having said that, I would have been quite happy in one of the standard rooms, the charm and welcome of the hosts and the location would have more than made up of it. Also place a large bowl of water on the floor in the corner...i had forgotten quite how dry the air is in the alps... ”
