This hotel is in the centre of Grenoble, with many restautants and terraces in the area a very nice place to stay. Breakfast is fine, with all things you would like to have for breakfast. The room is basic, clean and fine.

I live in Grenoble, but had to stay in a hotel one night due to work being done in my apartment. I'd passed this hotel almost every day for 12 years -- and finally decided this is where I would stay. We were exceptionally the pleased with our stay at the Hotel de l'Europe. The location near the tourism office is centralIzed for walking and for use of the tram outside the front door. Absolutely the best location in Grenoble's city center. Ideal for outdoor activities such us museums and bars. Very good service: reception guy was very kind and spoke english and italian as well as french. Rooms comfy and well decorated. Recommended.

A cut above the typical French hotel : proper sized bed and good size room, which for a change were properly cleaned. Breakfast was very good, staff was friendly and helpfull. Location is very good, most major landmarks and attractions in the city are well within walking distance.

I stayed in a room with balcony overlooking the main square of grenoble - it was such a pleasure to have this fascinating view and your own balcony. It was very clean, i loved the eco-amenities they used. Every morning I enjoyed delicious breakfast with a great variety, do not need to mention espresso machine for all tastes. Free wifi....

Stayed here on business in Sept 2014. Rooms are extremely clean but very small. This used to be a 2-star hotel which somehow made it to the 3-star category after a renovation. The location, easy access, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff make up for the noise and small rooms. The shower was so small I couldn't even turn around/bend...

Great view of the main square and the La Bastille. Close to comercial center, places to eat, to train station, the rooms are very confortable with all basic services, good breakfast, good atention and totally quiet.
