The building is nice and tastefully renovated. The reception crew and bar staff are very friendly and attentive. The rest is hard to accept . Surrounded by very loud and busy streets one side and train tracks on the other, there does not seem be one room where you can sleep with opened windows. The very few rooms to an...

We stayed recently with my wife and our two young kids at Mercure Chateau Perrache. We were staying in the suite which was really nice (I think they have two of those), very functional with a nice and big bed. I really recommend it. I find the breakfast a bit pricey for the choice but hopefully kids under 16 staying...

Nice art deco hotel. Reception staff were lovely, were fluent in English and very accomodating. The note wasreslly overpriced for what I got. £80 fir single room. Sockets didn't work so couldn't charge phone. Kettle didn't work so couldn't have a cup of coffee. All reported to reception nothing offered in return. Not even a complimentary breakfast. On our first...

This is a very good hotel with a few shortcomings, hence the 4/5. We spent a week here. The decoration of the ‘superior twin’ room was smart and immaculate, the beds were comfortable in all respects (mattress, duvet, pillows), there was absolute silence for sleeping at night and the curtains excluded all light if so desired. The generous wardrobe with...

The hotel is located in an ancient building whose interior is remodeled, but preserves the amplitude of spaces, including of course the rooms. It is well decorated and clean, comfortable, served with style and dedication. It is not near the main attractions of Lyon, but its proximity to the Gare Lyon Perrache facilitates movements. The breakfast is expensive, but you...

In the course of my wife's and my first visit to France, we stayed three days at Mercure Hotel Lyon Centre Chateau Parrache. It's a grand structure, well maintained and clean. There are tour groups that come through, probably on account of its proximity to Lyon Parrache train station. Breakfast was included, and was a very good buffet. The hotel...

We stayed at the Mercure on the weekend and fully enjoyed our stay. Its directly next to the central rail station. The old part of the city and the city center are easy reachable by foot. The hotel is an an stylish 19th century building. Rooms are modern with high ceilings. The airco runs silently. Great place to stay overall.

This would be fantastic place to stay if you arrived by train, so convenient to the station. A bit awkward to get to by car. Good secure parking.
