We (a group of 4 adults) stayed 2 nights at the Mercure Lyon Centre Beaux Arts. The hotel was the perfect location for us. Easy to walk to lots of places of interest and an excellent bar area near by. Public transport and great shops all easily accessible too. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, polite and helpful....

equidistant from all the main sites and once the footbridge reopens only a short walk to the old town . we had a priviledge room which was of a good size with nespresso machine , sofa, large flat screen TV . The hotel is well decorated in a modern minimalist style .The staff on the front desk were just outstanding...

Spent 3 nights here last week. Excellent location to see everything in Lyon - the old town is just a short walk across one of the bridges - but you are in a more local area near excellent restaurants. Very comfortable hotel and helpful staff. Walking distance to great markets and close to both rivers. Highly recommended.

About 0.4 miles from the closest metro stop, Bellecour, to the hotel. Very good location for seeing Lyon. Clean, comfortable, attractive room. Very good breakfast. Good package price for "pay in advance".

My wife and I visited Lyon and stayed here. It was very satisfactory and we enjoyed our stay. The room is clean and pleasant. The service was friendly and attentive, but not super-warm. The front desk guy (Jean Batiste) was particularly helpful with the bags, restaurant reservations and advice on parking. We had a lovely view onto the street and...

We were a party of six starting our driving trip around France from Lyon. This hotel was conveniently located to popular sites and attractions and very walkable to restaurants and cafes. It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were spacious. Biggest benefit? The bill wasn't a gouge. You can't miss with Mercure.

Cons: The room had a/c but it didn't ever seem to get cool in the room. Also, even with the do not disturb sign on the door the hotel maid service still came in the room. We didn't eat the breakfast because we thought it was priced too high. Pros: Affordable, good location, clean room, friendly and helpful staff. We...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for this review. First we apologize for the problem you experienced with our housekeeping staff in the morning. Concerning the A/C, the system has been fully renovated last year and is working properly, however I asked the technician to check the installation. The hotel was clean and the staff efficient and friendly. We had two twin rooms for four friends sharing. One room was very small, the other was a reasonable size. It seemed inequitable that both cost the same. Very good position in the centre puff the tourist attractions areas of interest

Dear Maggie, Thank you very much for this feedback. As the hotel is built in a very old building, all of our rooms have different configurations. However we offer the same level of equipment and comfort which explains why the rates are similar. For your next stay, I recommend you to try our Privilege room. They offer more space and...
