I was not sure whether to give this hotel 2 or 3 stars. Firstly the pros: it is in a good location and you can easily walk to the old city, or Place Bellacour from here. Also the bathrooms were clean, modern and had all the necessary facilities. We stayed for two nights and had two twin rooms. Cons: One...

We stayed here for 1 night. Location: the hotel is only a 2 minute walk to the river side, there is plenty of shopping and attractions around this great city. The hotel was about a 15 minute Uber ride from the train station. Hotel: the hotel had a small elevator which was good for our luggage, but as is the...

I stayed here by myself. I really thought this hotel was good. The rooms were quirky and smallish but the service was superb. I left my passport here by mistake and they couriered it to my next destination without a concern. This saved my bacon completely.

We spent two nights in this centrally located hotel and weren't disappointed. It is easy to get around from here, just a few minutes walk from a metro station. The rooms are clean and the service very friendly. Compared to price and what you get it is a really good deal. Only little things stops me from giving 5/5, eg...

Location is the great advantage for the Grand Hotel des Terreaux. It is located at a walking distance from great restaurants and shooping area. The hotel is a typical french hotel. Looks old, has a tiny elevator, rooms are small. The breaksfast room is located by the pool area, which has that pool smell... Imagine that early in the morning...

We took a quick trip to France from Geneva and our first stop was in Lyon. We enjoyed the central location of the hotel allowing you to visit the old town area and museums right around the corner. Yes the rooms are small at many European hotels but still very comfortable with a nice bathroom. Lobby bar is a relaxing...

Good location, very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely building with exposed stone and tastefully decorated. Room on the small side for a twin but the bathroom was good and had a large bath. Bedding wasn’t of the highest quality but was still ok. Wi-fi worked well in the room but not in the breakfast area. Didn’t use the indoor pool...

This was not the hotel I intended to stay in. The hotel I was booked into couldn't accommodate me for some reason, so I was sent along here. Service is good and friendly and the bar is good too. Location is excellent - close to a variety of restaurants and interesting parts of the city. The room, however, is tiny....

This is a great little hotel in the heart of Lyon, you can walk anywhere from this spot to both rivers and around the town. The breakfast is the best and the dinning room is super cool indoor pool is interesting (right next to the dinning room). The rooms are good size but get a high floor facing the street...

I love the location of this hotel because it is close to the river and perfect for sightseeing and shopping. It is also walking distance to numerous quality restaurants & cafes. When I stayed here with my sister in August the reception staff were friendly (day & night) and spoke very good English. Wifi worked well and was free. The...
