I am sorry I have to write this negative review as I have not actually stayed at Mon Hotel Particulier. I made my booking in October 2014 for 4 nights accommodation in September 2015. I paid 95 Euro deposit and had helpful correspondence with Vincent. Unfortunately I had to cancel my booking on May 2nd 2015, giving 4 months notice.... More

Vincent was there to meet us when we arrived, and showed us around, including advice on where to go and where to eat (and where to avoid!). It is more like an apartment than a hotel and was well equipped with a kitchenette - great if you are shopping at the nearby markets. The noise does travel and echo around... More

The room we were given wasn't any of the 4 rooms which were featured on the Mon Hotel website. We had some mixed feelings about the room, and you'd have to decide where your priorities lie in deciding whether this set up is for you. As many reviewers have already pointed out, this is not a hotel, but rather like... More

I'm rating this apartment rather well because of its location. It's located right in the heart of old Lyon, which is worth a lot as you can just step outside and are in the main tourist area. Also, it's in a historic medieval building. However, the apartment itself wasn't very comfortable or attractive. Our apartment, the Mirror Suite, was quite... More

The location was good for first time Lyon visit. The unit was big, had a kitchen and a great shower. However, there are short comings that lead me not to recommend this hotel. First, it is dark and uncomfortable. All the lighting either shines in your face or are just too dim. No real windows so you feel like you're... More

Situated in the old town, a UNESCO heritage site, these are separate apartments, not a hotel, and the traveller needs to inform the owners of arrival time in order to be welcomed and let in. Ours was along the cobbled street at 104 Rue St Georges, and while the interior approach of the old building itself is unprepossessing, the apartment... More

The Hotel Particulier, Lyon is not a hotel. That being said, our stay in this more apartment than hotel, was a rare , true, travel experience. The lodging is one of 5 Vieux Lyon, totally renovated, apartments. Every unit is memorable. Our apartment was not for everyone. At first we were not sure if we had made a mistake but... More

We stayed for 3 nights during the summer, we arrived on the TGV at Gare Part Dieu and had lots of time so decided to walk. It takes about 40 mins if you don't stop for coffees, shops & sightseeing. We still arrived a little early for our rdv and Vincent was waiting for someone else, but he quickly sorted... More

In the midst of the old city, a great place to stay. We had a room with space to spread out, a full kitchen and a good shower. It's a 16th century building with great modern, chic, rooms. Very quiet, despite being in the middle of the busy old city area. More restaurants to choose from than you can count.
