I am leaving tomorrow, after spending three wonderful nights at Villa Florentine. I cannot say enough to recommend this hotel; the location, the service, the staff, the restaurant and the amenities are fabulous, not to mention the views, the pool, free Internet and parking! Lyon is a beautiful city, and Villa Florentine is just above the hustle and bustle, an...

My daughter and I stayed two nights at the Villa Florentine. We were greeted with professionalism and offered a fruit drink as we waited for check-in. The red leather couches in the lobby were perfect as we looked at the painted ceiling and checked our email. Free wireless was a great perk! The concierge and desk attendant were very efficient...

We stayed at the Villa Florentine on our way to Lake Como for the first part of our summer holiday. The reception at the hotel was very accomodating, even by the poor bell boy who had to haul our two week's worth of luggage to our room! The room was large and well-equipped, with a stunning view of the old...

We returned after a two year hiatus and found Villa Florentine even better than ever....particularly the staff. My husband I have never been so helped at a hotel in our entire life. Wonderful staff. Beautiful rooms, good service, fantastic view of the city, lovelyl pool. A stay most memorable.

The front desk personnel during our stay were not sufficiently courteous or responsive. They either lacked proper training, were not supervised adequately, or both. There was a very serious problem during our stay. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel until they correct this problem. Many individual employees were absolutely wonderful, but the manager needs to improve the over all...

Excellent location, although no real outside area to sit and enjoy the view. Good navigation skills needed to find the room, which was large and well equipped, very comfortable. We stayed nearly a week. The management and staff need more training in how to make their guests feel 'more at home'; that guests are not there for the convenience of...

I chose the hotel because of favorable reviews and it's location. The staff was really helpful and the location's view lived up to previous reviews. It seems that each room is unique in design and view. There are quite a few steps to reach the property, but we walked down to the city and used a taxi for our return...

Although we only stayed one evening at Villa Florentine, we were very impressed. The hotel is a converted monestary located on the hillside of old Lyon. Staff was very helpful. The hotel manager offered us a drink upon arrival and gave us a tour of the hotel. Our room was large, modern and beautiful. I would rate this hotel 4...

We stayed here one night on our way back from Reims to Geneva, and it was well worth the detour. The hotel has its own style (you have guessed right: that of a Florentine villa...) which some people will adore and others will find a bit overdone, but the location is superb and the staff and management are extremely warm...

We stayed here for 2 nights in between our journey from Paris to Provence. Our stay could not have been more enjoyable. I do not think you will find a better hotel in Lyon. The manager, Jerome, was truly one of the best I have ever come across (and I travel over 100 days a year). After some unpleasant experiences...
