If you value aesthetics, clean air and moderate summer temperature, this could be your next summer vacation. The hotel and rooms are 5 star+. Location is a short drive away from the city center, with the most stunning view of the mountains. You can enjoy the view when you have breakfast and dinner from the restaurants. Staff is super prof and there is lots of them. As summer is off season, the city is not crowded and there are plenty of hiking routes where you can be yourself. We did several hiking tours and eMTB with excellent guidance from the concierge service. The kids club with houses, rabbits and chicken is outstanding. There is even a very big sports center in the city with olympic pool. The shuttle service is very effective and takes you to the city in 10 min. This was our second stay, and we value this hotel the highest of all the 5 start hotels we have stayed in. This has become our favourite active summer destination.

We love going to Alps in the summer, and Four Seasons Megeve has been the best hotel I have stayed in for various reasons. Its mountain location and closeness to all outdoor activities makes it an obvious choice. You can start your outdoor biking or hiking right outside your door. They have regular shuttle services to the town which is lively with plenty to do. Beautiful pool for some rest and great views all around. The building and rooms are also lovely. Hotel concierge took care of all our needs and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive. The few negatives are choice of food and room service menu which are rather limited. They need to have more choices for kids and families staying more than a few days. Also lack of power outlets in convenient places in the room and shampoo bottles and soap not being restocked caused minor headaches. It is 2023, who uses small plastic shampoos in hotel rooms anymore. Just put environment friendly containers in. These small issues are nothing compared to the good times you will have though, so enjoy your stay.

We had the absolute privilege of staying at the Four Seasons Hotel Megeve for 2 nights in late August. I have never experienced anything like it. The hotel design and decor is extremely comfortable, and the staff went abobe and beyond to make every aspect of our stay memborable.
The spa is comfortable and clean and the staff and services were very relaxing. Breakfast is served on a comfortable balcony in the most scenic environment.
Upon learning that we would be departing to complete the TMB, the hotel staff wrote a note of encouragment and support.
This was such an incredible experience, and I cannot wait to go back!

We are writing to express our utter disgust and outrage at the abysmal service we suffered during our recent stay at the Four Seasons hotel in Megeve, France, where we had gathered to celebrate my 70th birthday with loved ones. Despite booking five rooms, we were subjected to a litany of inexcusable errors and oversights. The room assigned to me at check-in was an affront to my 70 years of travel experience, with a view that was an insult to human decency. Only after my agent's Herculean efforts was I moved to a smaller room with a marginally less appalling view. The check-in lady's claim that this was an upgrade was a brazen lie and an insult to our intelligence. The hotel's attention to detail was nonexistent, with tea mugs vanishing like magic, milk sachets replenished only in their dreams, and water bottles left to gather dust without glasses. And the pièce de résistance: a pathetic, store-bought birthday cake provided on my 70th birthday, which we had specifically come to celebrate. I demanded that they feed it to their incompetent staff, along with the greeting card. The attached photo of this monstrosity and the 'Kohinoor' tea mugs is a testament to their staggering ineptitude. We hold the hotel entirely responsible for this fiasco and demand a full investigation, apology, and corrective action. Our agent's hard work in securing great hotels for us was utterly betrayed by the hotel's breathtaking incompetence. Ajay

Dear Sir, Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your current stay with us. We deeply value the opinions of our guests, especially when it comes to such a momentous occasion as your 70th birthday. We would like to sincerely apologize that your experience did not meet the high standards we strive to maintain. It is disappointing to hear that the initial room did not meet your expectations. From the very beginning before your reservation was confirmed, we informed your travel agency that we have managed to upgrade you and your family rooms even with a high occupancy over that period. Once you expressed your concern upon check-in, we managed to find the best solution we can due to the high occupancy and your request to be on the same floor than your family that we presented to you the day after. We were under the impression that you were satisfied by the outcome. From your public post, I can understand it was not the case. Regarding the tea mugs, milk sachets, and water bottles, I am genuinely sorry that the service fell short in these areas. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that every detail of our guests' stay is meticulously attended to and I regret that we did not meet your expectations in this regard. I understand that the birthday cake we provided was not to your liking, and I sincerely apologize if it did not reflect the special nature of your celebration. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will certainly review our offerings to ensure they are of the highest quality. I would like to assure you that we are taking your concerns seriously and will be conducting a thorough review to address each issue you have raised. Our goal is to continuously improve and provide the exceptional service that our guests expect and deserve. Please know that I am always available to discuss this matter further in person during your stay. I genuinely want to make things right and ensure the remainder of your time with us is more in line with the experience you were hoping for. Thank you once again for your feedback, and I hope we can restore your trust in our hotel. Warm regards, Elia Harou, Guest Relations Manager

We had the opportunity to stay one night in October 2022 in this establishment, with excellent memories to come. We therefore decided to stay again, this time for two nights with our 7 month old baby, while autumn was just setting in in Megève. I can only recommend this time of year, much more peaceful than during "intense" tourism in winter as now in summer. The landscapes are breathtaking, the environment is conducive to disconnecting. Perfect for taking a break between back to school and the end of year celebrations!
The establishment is as splendid as ever: the spaces are perfectly maintained, the materials as beautiful as ever... the collaboration between Ariane de Rothschild and P.Y Rochon is definitely successful and remains trendy year after year.
We had the pleasure of being upgraded to a Junior Suite (thanks for the nice attention!). The latter is spacious, has a large bathroom and a lovely view of the valley. Special mention for the baby welcome: a large bed with quality bedding, toast & chocolate sleeping bag, bib, bath cape, dedicated bath products and adorable soft toy... we are indeed in a 5 star... almost Palace .
We took full advantage of the facilities and dedicated spaces/services (splendid spa, huge kids club decorated for Halloween, shuttle service to get us to the village in 7 minutes). What happiness!
My partner having been ill the first evening, I wanted to underline the remarkable dedication of the teams for all the attention paid and the adapted solutions proposed in order to support her recovery while allowing us to have a pleasant stay. I also wanted to underline the consideration and kindness of the reception teams for the young parents that we were at the time of check-out: we had the right to a room made available for our baby to allow him to do his nap while allowing us to enjoy the afternoon before our departure. An exceptional sense of service.
We will return with great pleasure to the Four Seasons Megève!

We are a family of 4 adults staying in Mejeve. When I found out there was a FS hotel I decided to book a spa day. I called and explained we would like a spa day and lunch to relax.
On arrival we were shown to the changing rooms and part of the pool area was visible through glass doors. We changed and went to the pool. It’s small! There are approximately 10 loungers around the pool, a water bottle with paper cups and a hot pot filled with mint tea, all self service. I went to reception to order drinks and food but was told we would have to get dressed, go upstairs to the bar for lunch. We spent a maximin of 1 hour laid by the small pool as there was no way to spend a day there so we left.
The bill came to over €350 for 3 adults for less than 1 hour at a pool. I would have never booked had I know how small the area was and how little there was available.
I have visited many FS hotels as a staying guest and also done many spa days. This was the worst experience! I felt it was a money grabbing exercise and if you are considering it please do not go. It is extortionate for what is available.
I have since complained to the manager only to be offered the standard “complimentary return” but when there is so little do do why would we return? The reason we left was boredom.
I can see if you are staying at the hotel it would be nice to spend 10 minutes bobbing in warm water but the pool isn’t big enough to swim in. It’s definitely not worthy of the “spa day” price point.

A very luxurious hotel with extremely comfortable rooms and excellent attention to detail. Service was faultless. Room was spacious and so comfortable. Large bathroom with separate toilet. The staff were so helpful and always there to open doors etc. They really were exceptional. The only disappointment was breakfast. Perfect for people who love a huge buffet - there was everything one could possibly want - but for someone who only wants a bowl of muesli, the 62Euro is ridiculous. Likewise, the light meal we had in the bar cost an absolute fortune in Aussie dollars (I had a vegetable risotto and my husband had a hamburger so nothing special). All said, I’d recommend it if you want to splurge.

We had the opportunity to stay, as a family and for two nights, a third time at the Four Seasons Hotel Megève.
We wanted to warmly thank all the teams for this wonderful stay. What a pleasure to meet you!
What a pleasure also to have had the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor spaces (it was our first stay in summer): the pool is pleasant, the view is breathtaking, sunbathing is numerous, sunscreen was offered near the pool as well as a cold drink... and the pool staff offered from time to time refreshing lollipops (elderberry, lavender): what a joy!
The room was perfect. It was a Prestige room, with a large dressing room, a huge bathroom, offering a superb view of the altitude garden and farm animals (much to the delight of our little girl).
The food was exquisite, from Breakfast to Dinner.
It was, again, an excellent stay. We hope to have the pleasure of returning in 2025!
Stephanie, Iris and Damien

Great hotel! The hotel itself is a far walk from the village, but the hotel has their own private car/shuttle to take and pick you up to the main center. Great breakfast and room service selection with delicious food. Our room has a great balcony that had a view of their own little animal “farm”. We changed our room to a bigger one with more space and a larger seating area with a sofa which was better for us.

Located a little outside the village, this Inn is very quiet. The public areas are beautiful, as are the rooms: in very good taste, with all the comforts expected of a Pension of this class. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast is amazing, with top quality local produce. Some fruits reminded me of the tastes of my childhood... A very nice experience, which of course at its cost!
