We booked this as it allowed us half board for 5 nights over mid term. We could not fault it. Staff were so friendly and genuinely helpful. Taxi service was 100% and food was fantastic. Location to ski slope could not be better and ski hire shops which was on site were more than efficient. I would recommend this hotel... More

The hotel's location could not be better: you walk a few steps up the hill (one minute) and you are at one of the main ski lifts of the area. You can hire your skiing gear there and then you are off on the 450 Km skiing runs of the MEGEVE valley. Nothing can beat that in convenience. True, there is... More

Is it possible to ruin a nice location? Unfortunately, yes! Very well placed next to the slopes, the hotel is very poor in terms of standards provided. Rooms are extremely small, bathrooms are about the size of a public toilet and phonic isolation is not existing. The only reason for getting "poor" and not "terrible" is the quality of the... More

We chose this hotel based on its location which is very close to the slopes. The rooms were as expected cramped, as were the bathrooms. We had the narrowest bathtub I've ever come across. But the ceilings were high and the room temperature not too hot and it was easy to ventilate the rooms. The curtains had decent lining which... More

This is the second time we have stayed at the Royal Rochebrune and I would firstly like to be completely honest and mention that this trip was marred somewhat by noise from above the hotel. This was due to do building work not connected to the hotel taking place in apartments above which they had no control over. The staff... More

Hotel is next to the ski school and the bottom of the cable car, so no long walk or bus in the morning or on the way back ☺. Rooms are nice for a 3 star alpine hotel. Buffet beakfast is very nice with a good selection. We ate dinner in the restaurant a few nights and the set menu... More

And by that I would refer tot the room, which had a thermostat that was apparently set to "hell" or either "sauna", and however much we tried, couldnt be set to something more accomodating. The room was especially cramped (2 people). Having called ahead to ask for twin beds instead of a king or queen size, we got to the... More

We stayed here for a long weekend's skiing and I should point out that the weather was perfect and the skiing excellent so my review may be tinged but I don't think so. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is a short (2 min) walk up some steps to the Rochebrune telecabine. We found the skiing on this... More
