Hotel Le Beau Site, nestled near Lake Annecy, is lauded for its serene and picturesque setting, offering guests a tranquil escape. While the professional service and pristine cleanliness of the hotel receive high marks, some guests have expressed dissatisfaction with the value, citing steep prices for breakfast and other services.
The rooms, celebrated for their comfort and tasteful decor, occasionally face criticism for noise levels and size. The hotel's amenities, including a private beach and spa, are popular highlights, although the additional costs for basic services have not gone unnoticed.

The Beau Site Hotel benefits from an extraordinary location. This beautiful establishment has a spacious and pleasantly decorated dining room, a large terrace allowing you to admire Lake Annecy and the surrounding mountains and a large garden extending from the terrace to the edge of the lake. This is to say that the environment is very conducive to relaxation and rest. Our very modern superior room was perfect with quality bedding. The cuisine, both breakfast and meals were excellent, using local products. The spa and swimming pool were also very popular. But above all the welcome by the couple of owners and Ludivine was very warm allowing us to enjoy the brunch on our arrival even though we had not made a reservation. The kindness of all the staff further increased our enjoyment of the stay. A big thank you to the whole team, we felt your satisfaction in working in this magnificent place. Mr and Mrs ROYFE

We wanted a lakeside hotel in between Chamonix and Geneva to rest after hiking the TMB for seven days. This Hotel was a 1. 5 Hour Dr. from Chamonix and only a 1 Hour Dr. back to the airport in Geneva after our hotel stay. We had a privilege suite with a view out onto the lake. Lake Annecy was very warm to swim in and we loved the private beach with chaise lounges and beach towels and large old trees to give us shade. There is a snack bar that offers sandwiches and drinks down at the lake.
The buffet breakfast was excellent and you can have eggs on demand. We ate dinner there one night. We’d have eaten there more often but it needs more variety for our taste.
The town in walking distance has several restaurants and bakery. In August it was hard to get into restaurants the same day because they were full , but there are several very nice ones with views over the lake.
We did not do it, but there is a ferry from a dock near the hotel to take you into the town of Annecy, but it was a long boat trip over an hour and then you needed to take a bus back or spend several hours in town to get another long ferry ride back to Talloires.
We rented e bikes at a nearby village to ride the bike trail towards Annecy. By the time we got started riding about 10 AM in August, the bike trail was extremely busy both directions so that took some of the fun out Of it. A girl about seven years old lost control around a curve and crashed straight into my bike when I was less than a half mile back to the bike rental place. That could’ve ended a lot worse than it did.
My husband played golf near Talloires and loved the course. The rental golf clubs were not very good and too long for his height, so he did not enjoy that part. The views from the golf course were outstanding.
We heard from relatives that there were restaurants up in the hills and mountains around Talloires that are farm to table With beautiful views over the lake, but every time we asked about availability, they were full
We loved our hotel. There was air-conditioning in our room and electric room darkening shades so we slept very well. Housekeeping every day in the morning was efficient. We used the pool and sauna and steam room and really enjoyed it on a cloudy day after our long hike in the Alps.
Overall, I think we picked a great hotel to relax after a week hiking in the Alps. We would definitely return and recommend this hotel.

The beautiful site where we had already stayed a long time ago was already very pleasant. Considerable work has been carried out by the new owners. Who have made their establishment a gem. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Some have a terrace overlooking the sea. Lake. The welcome is warm, very professional, you immediately feel good. To relax everything is there in beautiful
site, atmosphere, view, 1 SPA with 1 balneo pool worthy of 1 spa center thalasso.we go down the park to reach the well-appointed private beach of the hotel. the lake is there for 1 invigorating swim. sensitive feet have shoes (sardines). because of the stones🙉.. The restaurant reflects the image of the hotel, very good cuisine made with fresh, top quality produce..the restaurant staff is very pleasant, courteous, efficient, professional. Our dinners on the panoramic terrace were enchanting. Buffet breakfasts with 1 welcome by 1 adorable young woman His natural smile and good humor mean that the day can only start well. Very good breakfasts, quality products. Everything is very good, plentiful, varied. We are delighted with this stay, congratulations to the charming owners for their achievement as well as their knowledge of hospitality, making their customers feel good. This is 1 success. Beautiful location and setting on Lake Annecy, with excellent spa facilities but Beau Site Talloires disappointed on the basic services you’d expect for this price point. Breakfast at 23 EUR per person is overpriced, no hot food options and the cold continental selection is limited and low quality. Coffee also isn’t great. Additional facilities, such as use of the kayaks and SUPs on the lake are at an additional charge of 20 EUR per item which seems a little high, I’d expect such items to be included in the high room rate for guests. Rooms are nicely decorated and spacious but we found our location to the front of the main building to be noisy overnight and hot without AC or ventilation. The hotel and spa gets busy at the weekend due to brunch and day spa guests, which we found this affected the relaxed atmosphere. We did not eat in the restaurant so cannot comment. We’ll certainly return to Lake Annecy but will stay elsewhere next time.

* Arrival date: 06/14/2024 * Departure date: 06/16/2024 * Room number: 1 * Occupancy: 2 adults * Number of nights: 2 nights * Reservation: Room only * Category of rooms booked:
Superior Room: 285 euros per night per room Based in a double occupancy / Maximum occupancy of 2 people Mountain or Garden view / Shower or bath Room from 18 to 25 sqm with a Double bed or Twin Beds / No air conditioning Located in the main building
“Rooms with a breathtaking view, well decorated, well appointed”
The lessers: The room was small but comfortable, however the double curtains are not blackout. The shutters couldn't close because of the chairs taking up space on the terrace and the view took your breath away: I had a view of my neighbors' windows and an interior courtyard with lots of traffic. Everyone had a view of my room, whether the view took their breath away, I don't know, but I don't at all. Breakfast: 23€ The coffee machine is a technological disaster. You have to queue for 20 minutes even for hot water. You have to order your hard-boiled eggs in advance so if you have breakfast at 9:30 that’s where the hard-boiled eggs or the coffee are. Really disappointing given the price of breakfast and the room.
There is no air conditioning and so we sleep with the window open. And it's noisy early in the morning and late in the evening. Most: Very welcoming and pleasant staff. The SpA is breathtaking. Very luxurious and pleasant. The private beach is a plus.
Conclusion: my room did not really correspond to the description of its range and the urgent adjustments to be made in terms of breakfast. My other friends had cheaper rooms and were happy with the price and expectations but same experience for breakfast. Too bad it’s a very beautiful place and very well located.
My advice: take the cheapest room, this will prevent you from being disappointed by the view and/or the size of the room. Avoid breakfast. Take it instead in the small village square next door.

the location is ideal, the view idyllic and the large parking well appointed, helpful staff perfect starting point for strolling by the water, with a very nice garden on the other hand if the desserts presented at brunch are very successful, in incredible numbers (at least fifteen) and nicely decorated, the rest is a little disappointing for the price asked cheeses unripened to my taste, tomato carpaccio that attracts little in October..., pasta with good ceps but just hot and in addition we have to pay for water (we were not offered a decanter of water)!

The staff is very attentive. The view is magical. Quality table. The gardens are very nice, neat, and give access to a private beach with beautiful shaded areas, many deckchairs and a beach bar. Many leisure activities available (tennis, spa, paddle, canoe, sauna, board games). Talloires to a crazy charm in any season. We love this place.

This establishment is a real gem in a green setting with its feet in the water. Pleasant welcome and support in the room. -Quiet and spacious room. Very good bedding. Comfortable duvet and pillows. (4 pillows/bed). Italian shower. Cozy linens. Shower products and shampoo. Hair dryer. Safe. Kettle (tea-coffee). Numerous sockets. Air conditioning. Terrace overlooking the lake. Parking nearby. Directors who are very present and always have a kind word. Everything is done to enhance your stay with discretion. -During the summer: free shuttle every 20 minutes to go to Annecy (~ 40 minutes) 10 minutes from the hotel. -Magnificent view of the lake or the mountains (Col de la Forclaz). Paradise for sportsmen and...loungers -Half board: 3 courses. I prioritized fish = pleasure for the eyes and the palate. Tender fish, cooked to pearly perfection; delicious desserts (had to gain 3 kilos) Large wine list. Snack at the beach. - Hearty and varied breakfast (sweet and salty) Dynamic, empathetic and professional team. - Spa: treatments with Coline: perfect =>softness and relaxation (Prestige massage and pampering facial treatment). -Indoor swimming pool with hammam and sauna. Thank you for these relaxing days and see you soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Le Beau Site. The location and grounds are spectacular. We spent an afternoon at their private dock/swim area and it was heaven. The lake was a bit on the cool side but that crystal clear water was too inviting to pass up! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Having the bar and restaurant on site is very convenient but they are also withing walking distance to other dining options. We enjoyed staying in Talloires as it is quieter than some of the other areas on Lake Annecy and yet still close enough that you can get where ever you want. Highly recommend a stay at Hotel Le Beau Site. The name couldn't be more appropriate :-)

An establishment that deserves a real review The prices which are well beyond the establishment. Catering market menu at 49€ see photo this price being reserved only for half board! In addition, we ask you if you would like us to change the cutlery between the starter and the main course! You must ask for a slice of bread. Both evenings the accompaniment of the dishes as well as the sauces remain the same whether it is fish or meat. The wine costs €35 per bottle 2018, Côte du Languedoc, has significant flowers at the bottom of the bottle, I am waiting for the answer to my question, written on my evening bill, I paid for this bottle in full , having left a quarter of this bottle. The breakfast we didn't have at 22€. In my opinion, the staff has no training for an establishment that introduces a lot of values to the service or the dishes of the meals. We reported that the room safe was not working and no one intervened to fix it. On the other hand, the position, the view, the waterboards, the various games provided very well. I would not return to this establishment.

Hello dear Sir,
Well unfortunately no, we don't rent some bikes, but there is a tennis club which also offer bike rentals, it is situated at 5min by walking from our hotel.
Sure it is possible to ride all around the lake, but there is some parts where you will have to be careful, because it is a little bit more dangerous near our hotel. They have already done some works on the road to make a "green track" for bikes.
The track is very large on the other side of the lake, but on our side they are following to build this green track... but there is a lot of people doing it everyday and if you keep biking carefully, there will be no problem.
If you have the luck to come here, we hope that you may enjoy this stay and this beautiful lake.
We thank you very much for your interest dear Sir,
We keep at your disposal for any further informations,
Have a nice day,
Best regards,
Steve
