This place was recommended me by my friend and I enjoyed my vacation definitevely. The dormitories are simple but not old. Many things depend on neatness of your neigbours and of course yours. I met many interesting people there. The food was better than in many expensive restaurents. Special thanks to the chief. Before I occasionally took a few lessons...

UCPA is a simple and friendly way to go skiing when you don't want to bust the budget and your friends can't ski. Fantastic value, friendly staff, delicious food and brilliant atmosphere. The rooms are simple bunk rooms, but what more do you need when you're here to ski. The UCPA is clean, has shared bathrooms and a dining room...

We spent Christmas here and it was great we travelled from London on the Snow Exress Bus to get here. The food was out of this world our four bed dorm had enough space for all our bags and things and we really enjoyed our snowboarding lessons.

The whole concept of UCPA is brilliant. You stay at the center that holds the same standards as a good hostel. The food is always good and with a great variety. You can travel alone or in a big group, either way you always have a great time.

Booked UCPA via action outdoors and at first was sceptical about the price as I thought it was too good to be true due to the price but it was not! We went during the half term and were lucky enough to end up in a room of 4 with two fellow brits which was lucky to say the least!...

I love to travel alone, ans UCPA is the perfect opportunity to travel alone, yet meet great people. Yes, you share rooms with strangers, and yes you have to clear your table after you eat, but who cares? great people, good equipment, excellent instructors, and enough food that no one will go hungry. I have been on many UCPA ski...

Been here twice in 2 years. The centre, although dated, offers everything you need... As long as you travel in a group and get your own room; otherwise it's random people with you! Equipment, full board, full espace Killy lift pass all at great value. Food was good, people great, staff very knowledgeable of region and tuition classes brilliant. Planned...

This trip was all about the skiing which is fantastic in Val, the accommodation here is simply tired and ageing! Our toilet was leaking from the sewer/waste away and it stunk! The beds are probably made for 10-12 year olds and with there being little or no ventilation germs soon spread through our party! I totally understand that the place...

I wanted to give snowboarding a good go after trying out indoor slopes previously. I didn't want to spend much money though in case it turned out it wasn't for me. I found the UCPA via the Action Outdoors site who are their UK agents on a Google search and I spoke to them on the phone to make sure...

I absolutely loved the UCPA. I got snowboarding lessons, equipment rental, lift tickets, and all 3 meals everyday included in the extremely reasonable price. It is a hostel, so the accommodations are minimalistic and a bit cramped. The highly social atmosphere was perfect for me because I was traveling alone and so were many of the others at the UCPA....

“If you unfit (like me) you will hope to get a room on the 1st floor as any more stairs after a long day is hard work. the rooms are shared (unless you're in a group and fill a room) but this is a great way to meet new people.”
