The chalet itself is in a fairly decent location though when we were there we had to walk and there was no ski in or ski out. There is a short walk to ski down to the bottom of the ski lifts, but it requires a bit of a push on skis. There was no way to ski back so...

The location of this apartment is around 10-15 minutes uphill walk from the roundabout at the tourist information centre. Or you could walk from the centre of the village to the “rond point des pistes” where the different buses meet and turn around, and take the blue shuttle from there (runs every 15 minutes). We only met the staff at...

This chalet was recently fully modernised and offers very comfortable accommodation close to the slopes. We've spent a week in a four bedroom apartment. While it is not fully "ski in, ski out" it is reasonably close to the slopes, and allows you to ski out with no more than 100 m walk, and ski back, depending on your skills,...

Having stayed in many chalets over the years both catered and self catered we found this chalet to be a great option. Upon reading some of the other reviews before we went we were a little worried that there wouldn't be much space... This is not the case! When staying in a ski chalet you expect not much space and...

Very nice decor, comfortable beds, soft fluffy towels, great facilities for a self catering holiday. We had 5 adults in the 2 bedroom chalet, the 5th person was sleeping on a metal action sofa bed in the lounge this carries the inconvenience associated with being in the main living area, but was still a sizeable comfortable bed. The virtually ski...

This review refers specifically to the 2 bedroom apartment. This configuration is marketed as suitable for 4-6 persons. Firstly, the recent refurbishment is apparent in the decor throughout the apartment, which is bright and of a good standard. However, there are some major issues with the configuration. The king size bed is in a room with no more than 30cm...

Well equipped and tastefully styled, these apartments are perfect for a weeks stay in Val d'Isère. Everything we requested was in place before arrival and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 3 bedroom looking onto the face. Next time I come here I wouldn't bring a car because the free bus is frequent enough to...

This chalet is located right on the piste! We stayed in the one with 3 bedrooms. 2 rooms were facing the hallway (open hallway) and did not have a view. The living room and other bedroom had faced the piste and had a balcony. The apartment is fully equipped, there is everything you need! The nearest supermarket is bout 10-15...

Just come back from a week skiing in Val d'Isere staying at Les Chalets du Jardin Alpin. We booked this place for a couple of reasons, the recent refurbishment, the location and cost (not too bad if you know that staying in Val can cost a small fortune). I wasn't disappointed on any of these points. The level of refurbishment...

We had a superb family holiday in Les Chalets du Jardin Alpin. The apartments (a 2-bedroom and 3 bedroom) were comfortable, stylish, immaculate and very conveniently located for ski in/ski out. The reception staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Kitchens were well provisioned and the indoor garage was easy to use for grocery store runs....

This high standart residence (classification 4 stars) has been entirely renovated and restructured in 2014. The 24 apartments are divided into the chalets built in traditional style from local stone and wood and doted with slate roofs. Apartments as well as common spaces have been rethought to offer more space and services such as a spa with sauna and steam-room, bigger living rooms, modern and functional kitchens, while keeping the charming and cosy side of a mountain residence. We propose different types of apartments from the 2 rooms (2/4 pers) 35 m2 to the 6 rooms (10/12 pers) 127m2 including 2 of them adapted for disabled people.
