I felt that this was a good place to rest your head after skiing They don't really offer much more and it's close to everything and it's always buzzing due to it's price. I dont think it deserves some of the bad reviews it gets. I think it's pretty ok but do carry a spare blanket hehe.

we booked a room and we were afraid of the reviews, at the end it turned out a very nice place to stay, yes its basic but its clean, new sheets, hot water, clean and equipped kitchen, the staff where all nice and welcoming. all together we had a very nice visit, defiantly worth the price.

A run down hotel in need of a renovation. Beware that the pictures on their homepage are a couple of years old. The freshness in the pics are long gone now. Other guests had problems with cleaning, we had problems with clean sheets. Not worse cleaning problems than they could be overcome by staff, but worth a heads up for...

Left it too late to book into Le Foret with our friends so the two of us ended up in a studio apartment in Jardin de la Balme around the back instead. Made the mistake of reading the reviews here before travelling and really expected we would end up paying Crystal extra to go somewhere else. Instead, we were quite...

The studio was very small although we were three people in a studio of four (I cannot imagine how we would have coped if a fourth person had joined, this is insane) After a few hours upon arriving our room looked like a refugee camp as there was no storage space whatsoever, which made the walking through the room very...

We went there four days, we were a group and the staff treated us really bad. Our room was violated twice being interrupted for the staff without advertising. They threatened us telling that they can send us to the street if we were noisy (it was 21.30), they called the police for no reason just for intimidate us. We were...

If you are a group and you go to val d’Isere expecting great holidays AVOID THIS PLACE. This is the 6th year we come to the alps with a group of 300 people. As always we stayed in Belambra and book almost all the dorms in the bulding. As a group people tend to interact more with each other but...

The only saving grace of this apartment was that it was reasonably close to the slopes, about a 10 minute walk. The apartment was dirty, cramped, badly furnished, and the kitchen facilities were awful. I wouldn't be coming back. Even if it were free.

There are places that are not expensive and there are places that appears cheap at first glance. But then you discover the price you pay covers nothing, everything is extra. They clearly do not expect return trade. We are in the alps in winter and all the provide is a single blanket per person, not even duvets!

Had a very good week here in a tiny 5 person apartment over New Year. Got to say that sleeping 5 adults may be a challenge but we were a married couple with an elder son and it worked fine with the one bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge area. It is close to the slopes (5 minute...
