We were a little concerned when we saw a couple of the previous reviews but we needn’t have been. We have been to Val D’Isere many times and it is probably one of the most expensive resorts you can stay in. We ski several times in a season and so have a mixture of budget and

Lovely reception staff, easy check in. We had room 102. It is nice and clean but absolutely tiny, barely room to walk round the beds, with a balcony onto the Main Street. This was the only opening window so to sleep with air flow you are exposed potentially to whomsoever can

There are several ski hire places within 100 metres. These include Skimium, AB Skishop and Intersport. We used Intersport where we had good service. Exit the hotel and turn right and the various hire shops are on either side of the main road.

Every body is on holiday ... some for ski and sport others to leisure around in mink and Chanel, so you will be equally comfortable in your ski layers or your smarter clothes in dining room! I was always in my casuals and never felt from another planet!

To me it's a proper hairdryer but yes... it is one of those hot air hoses that is attached to the wall of bathroom!😜😘But it works well! ( I have shoulder length hair though!)
