We booked the Kandahar half-board through Inghams because our first choice venue wasn't available, but to be honest that really turned out not to be an issue. The hotel is very conveniently located on the main road of the town, just a few minutes' walk from the main ski-lifts and close to plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. The reception...

We stayed for a week with family and friends. Comfortable rooms, good beds, great bath and shore. Food excellent for half board - filling breakfasts, very appetising evening meal with good choice of 2 dishes for each course. The hotel has a great central location, near the main part of town

Largely for logistical reasons we booked an Inghams half board package to the Hotel Kandahar and its restaurant Alsace. Arrangements thru Inghams were pretty effortless ( had to book skis seperately ) and uneventful ( slight shambles on return to Geneva - coach driver appeared not to have been there before and rep on coach not much better - but...

Hotel Kandahar helped me out of a spot when i needed a place to stay between chalets. While the hotel is traditionally styled, everything is actually new so its clean and beautifully appointed. It is right in the center of town, either a brisk 5 minute walk or a 30 second bus ride to the main lifts.

Stayed in March 2015 having being caught in the snow storm in December 2014 and not being able to reach resort. Fanny and other staff couldn't have been more helpful and supportive in the crisis! So pleased to have found this little gem! Recently refurbished and looks lovely. Breakfast is great keeps coming and always fresh. Hotel is so clean....

We all had fun skiing and the hotel is great, in the village centre etc. The staff are polite and helpful and the restaurant, quality of food etc. are all excellent. This is in stark contrast to the lazy, unhelpful and careless attitude displayed by Inghams when things went wrong on both journeys to and from the resort. It seems...

This hotel has had a recent face lift which has turned it into one of the better decorated hotels in Val. I have stayed there twice this year, once with my family and once with a ski buddy. On both occasions we have found the rooms, service, food and friendliness very good. The hotel is in the heart of Val...

Very surprised by this supposed 3 star hotel - a recent refurbishment should surely push it up a star. Rooms were typically alpine, comfortable - a couple of quibbles - the heating is centrally controlled, but just ask at reception and they will turn it down or off for you. The over the bath shower's are fine, but water splashes...

This is a nice friendly hotel right in the middle of the town. The rooms were very comfortable, although some friends reported theirs were a bit sparse. The location is very good, being about 5-10 minutes walk from the main lifts (depending on how fast you walk). Dinner is served in a lively basement restaurant that's open to the public....

I booked online the “big suite for 2”, turned out to be really big and beautiful under the roof with a nice balcony with clear view (room 414). Sauna and hammam were next door, opened any time for free, hardly any people. Great breakfast until 10am, never been rushed to finish, they kept bringing food and juice until people were...
