Me and my 20-strong people family, who were also staying at the hotel, were having breakfast. I ordered two glasses of water for my two small children and when the bill arrived we were surprised that we were charged EUR 1 for each glass of tap water....after spending EUR 200 in breakfast and EUR 800 in the rooms my family...

Met with a group of friends. While food is average, the service was slow and chaotic. We were charged EUR 5.50 for one liter of open tap water - more than EUR 22/ 4 carafes. Upon checking the bill there were items listed never consumed - white wine, sparkly water and a 5th carafe. The waitress started a lengthy discussion...

We stayed with Herr and Frau Peter for two nights in May 2014 for our second visit to Baden-Baden, and we were delighted by our welcoming hosts. This is a fine little hotel with affordable rates (we paid 72 Euros per night), and it is in an great location for experiencing Baden-Baden. It is an easy 15-20 walk through the...

This is a great little hotel a short walk from the city center with lots of atmosphere. It's actually a restaurant/beer garden with rooms upstairs, which means that the food is really good (see separate review of restaurant) an there's always someone at the bar! Rooms are cozy and the staff are amazing, making us feel very welcome.

Stayed there for 2 days in Freiburg and mainly picked the hotel due to the proximity of the people we were visiting. The Kaiser Freiburg is basically a restaurant with 15 rooms attached to it, whereby some rooms don´t have showers. We paid 90 EUR / night for a double room , which I consider a fair price. It is...
