The Central hotel is welcoming and warm. I stayed 2 nights. Great breakfast: the only problem was restraining myself from trying everything! It is just off the main shopping street and a couple of minutes walk from the cathedral. The room is spotless. Nice TV and 3 or 4 English language news channels. Staff and polite and attentive. It's a... More

Location is excellent and there is a parking under the hotel. Breakfast was fine in the first morning but less good in the second day. A very strange smell from the loo (wc) and no lift to the 4th floor. Rooms on 3rd floor with upper window like a jail cell. The staff is polite and assistive .

We stayed in this hotel on our way back home to England from Crete. The hotel was very clean although the room we had was small. It had a mini bar which was reasonably priced. We recommend using the garage as parking is impossible, there is a charge for this. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff very friendly. The hotel is... More

The breakfast was amazing. Absolutely amazing. There was everything you could want, and more. Different types of fresh cheeses, cured meats, yougurts, sweets, marmalades, waffles, butter, honey, maple syrup, so many breads! Also nutella, teas, chocolate, toast. Eggs as well, and more. The room was very clean and spacious, well furnished and decorated. The staff was very kind and always... More

The hotel is located just off the pedestrianised part of Freiburg right in the Centre, so ideal as a base for exploring the city. The rooms are fairly standard with reasonable wi-fi and a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet did offer a good choice, but the scrambled egg was far too over-done - two mornings in a row so no... This is a centrally located hotel, adjacent to the old town part of Freiburg, in the middle of the city. There's an indoor mall across the street, and a huge amount of shopping, restaurants, and old buildings to see within walking distance. The hotel itself is relatively small and homey, I think patronized by many German and close European tourists,... More

We stayed 2 nights while visiting Europa Park. The hotel was comfortable and well located and we were particularly impressed by how friendly the staff were. We only ate breakfast in the hotel but there was a good buffet selection.

Breakfast was excellent with all need for healthy meal. The hotel has no parking. The hotel location in about 2 minutes waking from the center. We would not hesitate... More

The hotel is in a very good location, easy to get, but is I wad shocked by the smoke and cigarette smell, as everyone smokes in the bar which is right next to the reception. Unfortunately the smoke tends to go up, and sure enough my tiny room was smelling like smoke. Room was clean, basic, just good for one... More
