We had a long driving day and needed only a clean modestly priced hotel. We booked through booking.com and found this hotel. Staff was helpful and room was clean. Typical of modern low priced hotels in Europe, much is automated. We believe it is a reasonable choice.

This hotel offers no frills, but it was a great overnight solution on a budget for a family with two kids. The hotel itself is a typical chain type property, at the same time they did invest in some nice design elements and colour that made the hotel feel more inviting. The room was small but new, clean and very functional with a built in bunk bed for kids which was very convenient. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was quite good with fresh juices, cheeses and breads. Hustle free late check out was an added bonus. Overall an excellent value for money.

Attended here in September with two friends and booked a family room after staying here previously. The Hotel is directly at the end of Tram Line #3 so is easy to get to although it is a little out the way of the city centre. We were in room 219 and it appears that during the morning all the water waste from other rooms goes past this room and it can be quite noisy. Apart from that it’s a fairly decent hotel.

About 15 minutes from the city centre on the Tram and it's right at the end of one of the lines so easy to find. It's a decent enough hotel. Clean and Well kept. And it's good value for the money you pay for it.

We stayed for 5 nights ...had breakfast on two occasions ..all in all the rooms were clean, small and adequate. The breakfast was good value for money ...nothing special but you could not expect more for €7.50 pp. The location ..is out of town ...but directly opposite the tram station ...perfect to hop on and get to the centre of Freiburg town. Staff at the hotel were friendly
On the negative side the entrance outside could have been cleaner ...cigarette butts and spilt coffee was not a pleasant site. First time I have been to a hotel where they allow pets ...this was somewhat strange ...but I guess it seems to be the norm. in terms of returning ...maybe!

An obviously brand new hotel near Freiburg -only a 5 minute drive to the town- offers nicely decorated rooms for up to 4 persons.
Both the room and bathroom were clean with a sense of freshness and our stay there was really nice.
There is free car park and I also noticed a tram stop just outside the hotel for the ones who don't ravel with a car

We stayed here 2 weeks ago for one night and it was a nice size room for our family. The bathroom shower drain could have been cleaned better as it was almost completely clogged with a huge disgusting hair clump. After I removed that from under the drain cap, the shower was pleasant. The front desk staff was somewhat stand offish, but it could have been because of our lack of German language, they just weren't helpful or our impression was that they did not make enough effort. Also, this hotel does not participate in the Konus Karte program that provides a mobility - transportation ticket for a small fee with your lodging purchase for use and 24 hour access to bus/tram/train throughout the region.

Really excellent overnight stop. Easy to find (after a dreadful journey up from the Italian Alps), efficient, clean, warm, comfortable, good shower, decent drinks in a vending machine because we arrived so late. Excellent buffet-style breakfast. Good internet connection.

Obviously a bit soulless - apart from very nice receptionists - but that's ok for a place where we only sleep, shower and have breakfast.

The 07.30 start of breakfast worked fine for us in relation to our check-in time at Frankfurt, but I imagine it could be a bit late if one had a long day's driving ahead.

I stayed there with a friend for one night, as we arrived, the staff at the reception didn't seem to be interested. most of the hotel works automatic, you just enter your code on the main door and your room to get in, reception is not manned 24/7.

Rooms were modern and very clean, but also very small. Theres a tram and a big bus station right next to the hotel, but at night you will always hear the busses and trams driving at night.

It was good for one night but I didn't like how the hotel staff seems to be not responsible for the guests or not interested. If you got any problems or trouble, there may noone be there to help you.

Total points: 8/10

General verdict:
The B&B Chain has chosen to make every hotel and room look very similar. This has been achieved by a great similarity in colors and furniture. Once you visited one of their hotels, you will feel at home in any of them.

Location: 8/10
The Hotel is located at the end of line 3 (direction Haid), which is roughly 10 minutes from the main station. From the stop there is a not very clearly marked pedestrian walkway to the hotel. Even with the detour though it is still very accessible. There is a large parking with more than sufficiennt space.
One note, german tramdrivers look at the clock, not at the customer. With a tram every 10 minutes, you can wait another 10 minutes if your driver doesn't like you.

Rooms: 8/10
The rooms are relatively new. Of course, for a B&B one can't expect a huge room, but for sleeping it is more than sufficient. One big minus though is the system that closes the doors. It somehow is very strong both for the bathroom doors as well as for the room doors. If you do not stop the door in the last second, half the hotel will know you closed your door.

Service: 9/10
Staff is very friendly and willing to help whenever they can. I was particularly pleased to be welcomed by one of the most radiant smiles I have seen in a long time.

Breakfast buffet: 7/10
For a comparable small amount one can use the breakfast buffet, with a limited choice sweet spreads (marmelade, chocoate spread), some cheese, some meats, some spreads. There are freshly cooked eggs, but no scrambled eggs, sausages or similar.

Pricing: 8/10
You're paying for a Bed & Breakfast and that is what you get. I believe the price to be very fair.
