With initial apprehension about the place, everything got sorted out after we checked in. Located in Rohrbach markt, it's a 3min walk from tram stop or bus stop. There are regular tram and bus services available to go to Hauptbhanhof or to city centre. The kirchiem railway station is about 15-20mins walk. There are restaurants around and penny markt and...

This is located in a residential neighborhood, but it is a quick tram ride away from all the major attractions. We loved having a kitchen in our room! It is a very quite location and we were the only Americans staying there at the time. There is a grocery store and multiple restaurants all within walking distance. They also let...

The place was comfortable, and clean. Unfortunately when we arrived our booking couldn't be found, and due to the time 5.15pm, reception was closed and the owners could not speak/understand English over the phone. The restaurant waitress below was very helpful and spoke to the owner, to let us in. Room was comfortable, kitchenette was ok, but not really useful...

This is a lovely little hotel. The rooms are generously proportioned, well equipped and very clean. The service is friendly and reliable; I have spent many nights there and they have never let me down. Rohrbach is not the most central location but has a nice village feel about it and the centre of Heidelberg can be reached conviniently in...

Adequate 2 bedroom apartment in a great part of town. Many good value places to eat, handy to the tram for easy access to the city. Apartment is ok, not fancy. We had top floor, a difficult climb with heavy bags. Staff not all that helpful, maybe the language barrier perhaps. They didnt tell us our lost bags had turned...

The apartments are located in a suburb called Rohrbach and the location is convenient in the sense that restaurants, grocery shop and tram station - all are very close by. The downside was that reception hours are very limited and the reception people didn't understand English quite well - so it was difficult to ask for anything. But other than...

While staying at the Residence Heidelberg we rented the 3 room apartment. It had two bedrooms, bathroom and full kitchen. It was very clean and everyone spoke English and was very helpful. It does not have all the craziness of a hotel but had everything you need. It was away from the downtown area in a quiet setting near an...

My wife and I stayed here for three days in September 2009. The hotel is in this gorgeous little town/suburb called Rohrbach which is in the south of Heidelberg city centre. The rooms are massive. It has a kitchenette so if you wanted to, you could easily cook your own food. Our room was clean, no complaints about the quality....
