I was booked into this hotel by the organizers of a conference I participated in. As this was part of a larger trip, I arrived (from Bangkok) late in the evening with lots of luggage. The night porter there was one of the two unfriendliest I have encountered in almost half a century of travel. He saw me struggling with... More

Loved staying at this hotel. It was in a great location, and the staff was super nice and friendly. Vasilis was super nice and friendly during the breakfast hours, didn't rush us, and gave us great advice on where to go and what to do, as well as letting us keep our luggage there after we checked out until our... Our family of 4 stayed here in a room together on the second floor. The rooms are basic with anything you need provided. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was fresh and adequate without going over the top. The real value of this hotel is the location. We walked everywhere from there and the public square just... More

You cannot come closer to the old town in Heidelberg than at this hotel. Situated in the corner of the big square outside the catherdral. Close to restaurants, cafés and shops. The hotel is rather small with rooms on three floors. There is no lift. We had a top floor room with a view over the square. Very good standard... More

This is a good hotel in the center of the old city. It is an easy walking distance from all the sites and locations. The staff is very helpful and service minded. A small issue would be to upgrade the WiFi in the upper floors, but that is a small consideration.

This hotel is just in the middle of the old town of Heidelberg. The service is great, the rooms very clean. I was hoping for more variety at the breakfast. Although it is not very modern and rather simple, the price was rather high, probably due to perfect location. There are many possibilities to go for good food near the... More

Centrally located, clean, and exceptionally helpful staff. Fabian checked us in, gave suggestions, made a call, and went out of his way to help my wife and me enjoy our visit. Breakfast was included and offered a wide variety of choices. Not a problem for us, but there is no elevator. We stayed on a Saturday night that coincided with... More

Expect no frills. But this is a nice hotel pragmatically run by a bunch of extraordinarily friendly people. Things simply function, there is wireless internet access, the location is splendid, and the value for money extraordinary. I will come back in case I have to stay in Heidelberg again. I might add that the interior is "esthetically challenged" to some... More

Excellent host (Fabian), ideal location on the corner of the gorgeous mail square. Huge family room. Kids beds were a bit hard though. Good breakfast. Only negative was the noise from bar/club guests nearby until the early hours. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend as great value.

This hotel is almost directly at the square in the center of Heidelberg. The hotel is small and clean, but not among the newest hotels. Good breakfast, low prices for a family room. Especially considering the central placement. You have to use public parking since there is no parking at the hotel.
