We stayed here for 2 nights while touring Germany. There are some upsides but more downsides. First, accessibility is limited but we should have known that as the hotel is right next to the Old Bridge. Second, parking is about 10 minutes' walk away in a city garage and the hotel validates some, not all, of the cost. Third, the...

Dear guests, thank you for your review and critics. You booked two rooms for you and your son on booking.com where the whole facility is discribed - also the parking situation and our very good restaurant. And the location at the old bridge (name of the hotel!) in the heart of the historic city ! We couldn't know that you...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We had 2 rooms over the a weekend with my family in one room and my parents in another. We loved the easygoing style of the staff and the great service. The rooms were bright and fresh, with lots of space and high ceilings. The elevator access was a plus for my elderly parents. Even our labrador was welcome with...

The hotel is super well located. Near the castle and near the city square. Breakfast costs 11€ but the restaurant is clean and super cozy. Thing to notice: is only two hours (from 8 - 10) Personnel is super friendly and are helping you in anything you may need. Internet is good and no problems during our stay. Parking is...

The rooms are very well appointed. Comfy bed, pillows and easily controlled heat and windows. The furnishings are all new, and the bathrooms are nice and new. The service from the check-in is very attentive. They help with bags if needed, brought in extra hangers and an iron immediately upon request. Any of the employees that you run into in...

The location is fabulous- on Neckar river just on the Old Bridge in Old town Heidelberg. And this is where the story ends regarding good things. Rooms are small, furnishing is basic, smell in the hallways is very bad. Breakfast is basic but they charge for it like it is a real thing. Not a place I would recommend for...

Dear Mr. Dropulic, sorry for disapponting you so much in our hotel, travelling alone for business. Your room nr. 12 was a small & cosy doubleroom for single use with view over the historic old town of Heidelberg. The mattresses in the doublebed are made by treca, we have a small kind of walking closet in the room and a...

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel which could not be situated in a better, more convenient place for the old town - almost right in front of the Tor and the Old Bridge!!! When we booked, I asked for a room with a view, hoping that this may be possible. Well, we probably got one of the two...

The hotel is near the old stone bridge and located in the nicest part of town. Book in advance so you have a room inside the old hotel, if not you will be located in one of the apartments in town. The restaurant is to be recommended

A darling little boutique hotel with views of the gate and river. I stayed with my parents in one room until we connected with my husband. There was a loft room that was pretty difficult to reach due to steep staircase. However, we made it work. The hotel offers the most charming courtyard for dining, and the location is superb!...

The location was great, the hospitality was amazing, the stuff were kind and professional. I enjoyed my 4 nights stay there. Kitchen also was great with availability of so many different types of foods. It was easy to access all over the old town from the hotel, it was like ten minutes slowly walking from there to the market square...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Best situatedyou find our charming hotel directly at the old bridge in the center of the romantic od town of heidelberg. In a few minutes you can walk to the castle, the university, the bridge and the world famous "Philosopenweg" from where you have an outstanding view over the old town.We have 10 double- and 2 singlerooms as well as 4 suites, partly with wonderful view on the river and the bridge, the old town and the castle. Our breakfast buffet expect you in our cosy restaurant " Wirtshaus zum Nepomuk" which is also very charming in the evening. We serve excellent regional cuisine. When the weather is fine, we also serve breakfast in our romantic courtyard before you walk around the city.We can't promise quiet rooms as we are in town. There's a churchbell ringing, birds are singing, people are talking in the courtyard or the terrace an as well we are a wellknown restaurant, we sometimes have weddings or birthdayparties. But we try our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Hope to see you soon. ... more   less
