Great food great atmosphere! Great pub food and great Irish and German beers! Everyone speaks great English. Really a nice place to relax after a long day of walking. Great burgers! Dubliner mix plate was awesome!

This hotel is located in a great area in Heidelberg. The rooms are next to the Dubliner Pub, but this wasn't an issue for us. Check in was quick and easy. The room was good sized, clean and comfortable. Also, each room has a balcony that looks out over the rustic streets of the city. There is no elevator, so... More

Ok,so the beer is great and so is the Irish Stew but why do all irish pubs have to look so dank and dull, doom and gloom. They're all the same. Recently i've been in Irish pubs in Heidelberg,Dresden,Las Vegas, Seville,Barcelona etc. They all look the same and serve same food. The beer is their winner and on certain nights there... More

I have been in the Dubliner many times and it keeps getting better. We have just returned from another Heidelberg trip and we always hang out here. First off the staff are brilliant. Extremely helpful and efficient. Food is gorgeous with plenty of choice. The chicken curry and the bacon skins are two of my favourites!! The bar is always... More

We are proud to say that our stay at the Dubliner was exceptional while in Germany. The owner, Niall Skelly, has an award winning pub to include an outstanding staff. While so many miles from home, we felt so welcomed by the owner and staff. The rooms are quaint, comfortable and very clean. We had a balcony that overlooked downtown... More

Nice alternative if you cannot take any more pork or schnitzel. Nice variety of food. It won't win a cooking award but this is a pub after all. Reasonable choice of drinks and cider for the aficionados. Fish and chips and tomato soup were good. Staff seems to speak better English than average in town. Good quality for the price.

Had to send meal back as was cold. Had to wait ages for my meal to be returned. Fish and chips husband had was soggy. Not one did staff say sorry or come over and ask if we needed anything else.staff were to busy chatting to each other . Don't eat here What a waste of money.

Never stay here unless you want a youth hostel type atmosphere and they are probably better! The staff is rude and you get checked in by the bartender who doesn't have time for this job. Also told us someone would help with the luggage and then when we asked the bartender for this he was very annoyed. We did tip... More

This was a great location for our quick stay in Heidelburg. Be aware though, there is no elevator and our room was on the fourth floor. Our room was large and had a small balcony overlooking the main pedestrian street. If you are a light sleeper you might want to bring some ear plugs because you are in the middle... More

It's located on the main street in the old city, so full marks for location. The one man who answered my call at 8am and opened the door to let me leave my bag was kind and professional. The place is presentable. However, the Pros list ends there. There's no designated luggage storage area, so items left in their care... More
