Hotel is located close to the Staatstheater, a tram-station, a big supermarket and only a few walking minutes away from the pedestrian zone. Welcome was very friendly and quick. We had a great spacious room with an open bathroom, a sofa and a very big TV. The building seems to be really old, but everything is in good condition and...

Nice welcome from reception guy who spoke excellent English for us. The room was huge with super heating but bathroom on the small size with a silly little curtain. Bed was noisy too but comfortable. Breakfast was good with a large selection of stuff. They had a sauna in the hotel but we had little time to use it. Parking...

Friendly staff. Clean and great value for money. This hotel is close to many attractions in Karlsruhe including Zum Kleinen Ketterer (a restaurant only a block away - reservations are recommended) and the Friedrichsplatz (where the Christmas Market is held in 2016).

Lovely hotel which has retained its period features. Location perfect for seeing Karlsruhe. The breakfast was excellent, a good selection served in beautiful rooms. The staff, in particular the receptionists, are really friendly and helpful. The only downside was the very tight parking and the rather hairy traffic in central Karlsruhe.

Hotel is a family run business, very nice people. Great breakfast. Hotel own parking area for only a small fee! Great. Large bathroom with tub and shower. Quiet rooms available (My room number: 18:) ) - facing to the backyard. No aircondition in rooms. Rooms very clean. Excellent!

Good hotel for a stop-over in Karlsruhe. The room was very clean, with all necessary facilities. Good breakfast. Hotel is located walking distance from the Karlsruhe Schloss. There is no hotel parking, you need to use a public parking. You get a discount, but you need to walk about 5 minutes.

These are the three main things which made me enjoy the stay at the hotel Blankenburg. LOCATION. 15 minutes of walking from the railway station. 7 minutes from the palace with a lovely park (which can be considered the best tourist attraction in this not very touristy city) and only 5 minutes from the Badisches Staatstheater where I attended the...
