I find this one a hard hotel to review. It's off a main highway that is somewhat busy. They try to be a camp of some sort with woods in the back and a playground area similar to a summer camp. Maybe it's better suited for that kind of service than what a group of us used for an over...

We used this hotel as a stopover en-route to and from from Austria in late July 2015. The restaurant and outdoor bar area were really very pleasant. Food and service very acceptable indeed. Breakfast a real treat with many many choices, cooked for UK guests and continental for those who prefer that. We had the upstairs of the main block...

This is a very nice place in the middle of the woods. We did not even use a car because public transportation is 2 minutes walking during daytime and 20-25 minutes walking during late evening. (I would not recommend the latter to people inexperienced in outdoor life and hiking.) The city is some 30-60 minutes away, depending on how you...

My husband and I have spent one night here. The hotel is immersed in a luxurious forest, so the location is absolutely magnificent, while being easily accessible from the national route. The English-speaking staff (serving both in the restaurant and in the hotel) was friendly and tried to solve an issue arised at 10 pm with the Internet connection (I...

I stayed one night in this place only because someone local booked it for me. It maybe that I'm used to a higher standard but this place was really horrible. The smell was unpleasant , no elevator to the room, the bed is tiny and the toilets have no ventilation. The location is in a remote place outside the city....

Sorry guys, this place is too old, carpets are stinky, shower is broken, room is tiny and uncomfortable, its in the middle of the forest so its not convenient to get in and out at night, especially when alone. Overall the service was nice, very polite folks that helped us get along the city, and breakfast was OK too.

Young children riding go karts through the car park with no thought of safety. Our booked double room only had linen for 1 person. Extra linen, left on the table next to us in the restaurant. the bed was just inches from the wall on one side. the toilet was jammed next to the shower. the shower was miniscule. the...

We used this hotel on our way to and on the way back from our ski trip in Austria. It's located very close to the highway on a quiet location in the woods. Being a family of 5 we had a nice large room. Beds were comfortable and there was a large bathroom (which was a bit chilly due to...

The hotel is located along a desserted highway which might missed as the GPRs could not locate the exact location. The room is small and dusty. Not air conditioned and little bugs fly in when the windows are opened. Not recommended as there are better value hotels on Stuggart.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Warm welcome to the Kulinarium an der Glems 1926 built as Kurhaus, afterwards modified to a hotel which is in the near of the one and only historical Solitude formular 1 race course of Stuttgart. Today it belongs to a family which keep it lovely with a restaurant and a hotel. The dishes are delicious in our a la carte restaurant “Jagerstube”, you can also make a function in our unique function rooms “Saal Solitude”, “Weißer Salon” or “Waldblick”. In summer time you can sit outside in front of the magnificent backdrop of nature under high and big chestnut trees where you can relax. We can also welcome to you in our hotel with modernised rooms in different sizes. It would be nice, when you also visit sister hotel Romerhof in Vaihingen. If you make a function in your own four walls, it would be a pleasure for us to plan it for you and perform it. All of this and the heartiness as host you get from us. When you have questions, you can ask our team. Your Kulinarium Team ... more   less
