5 min walk from town center (by the c way I recommend eating at 5 gourmet restaurant). Friendly staff. Firm, comfy beds. Rituals toiletries in the bathroom. Great breakfast selection. Beautiful garden. Parking.
This family run hotel is not in the immediate centre of everything but only a short stroll away on a quiet street in a semi residential area. The hotel and rooms have aged in style and offers the comfort you need. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but the bar can provide e.g. pizza and snacks and there is a quite good Vietnamese restaurant just across the street (NB cash only) and all other places less than five minutes away. Breakfast is included in the price and even though the buffet is not exhaustive it includes most of what you need and more than many other hotels charge hefty for. There is a small spa with sauna but for exercise you need to bring your runners and hit the streets. In short a place I would definitely return to.
The staff at the hotel were courteous and efficient. However, the location is up a steep incline and quite a distance from the main plaza. We were there on a Sunday so few shops were open. I would not recommend Stuttgart on a Sunday for tourists.
The people are very professional and the place is very well maintained. The room was very peaceful, except on the first night when we got two visits from a helicopter that was so close I thought troops were going to arrive through the window. I was not expecting a single bed built up against the wall, but that is what I got. I will give the hotel the benefit of the doubt, but after one of my four nights (when I had been very hot) there were blood spots on the sheets where my legs had been, and I could not see a wound. The breakfast, and its service, were exceptional. I spend a lot of time in hotels, and I have never been offered such an extensive choice of high quality ingredients. Hot roast parsnips, anybody? Walkable from the Central Station, the quietness of the neighbourhood becomes evident when you are looking for something to eat! I found a good place about ten minutes' walk away.…
Wonderful 10 day stay at this hotel. It was clean and the staff friendly and accommodating. Claudia, in particular, was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Highly recommend!
