I stayed only 1 night in Stuttgart so Kronen Hotel was my choice after reading the good reviews. The hotel is pretty well-located in the middle of Stuttgart, about 5-10 minutes walking from the main pedestrian street and the main train station. The staff was very helpful and kind; the woman in the reception insisted to take my luggage and...

The Kronen Hotel is located close to the railway station, albeit a bit out of the regular flow. It's neither a shopping, nor business neighbourhood, but with a room facing back, very calm and a few steps away form walky up the hills surrounding Stuttgart. The hotel has been renewed recently (I had stayed there before renovation, no comment) and...

The staff at Kronen is truly exceptional. They were wonderful on my first visit and amazing on my return a year later. Every one remembered my name and I was greeted like family. There was a personal note of greeting from the manager in my room. They did everything to make me feel at home and it worked. They must...

Were there three nights at the end of February, 2011. The hotel is further than it looks from the Stuttgart Hbf on the map and no previous review mentioned that it is up a moderate hill at the end of a dead-end street. It is west of the Hbf, about a 10 minute walk when pulling rolling luggage. There aren't...

I spent 8 nights in this hotel, as i participated a course in the Stuttgart University. The location is about 300m from the central station, in a very calm short street. It is about 5 minutes from the main shopping street of Stuttgart, and maybe 10 minutes walking from the old city. Great location! The hotel seems to be completely...

I did not stay at this hotel because they did not honor the price they quoted me. I spoke with a very nice woman on the phone who quoted me for a double room for our week's stay. She then even offered to upgrade the room for the same price. I requested to reserve the room at the price she...

4 nights at Kronenhotel in winter. The location is very convenient, near the railway station. The room was very large, so was the bed. The breakfast was said to be "the best in Stuttgart", and it really was. But the nicest was the staff, very nice; they made you feel at home. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, businessman...

We have just arrived home after staying in this delightful hotel. The staff are exceptionally friendly and informative and the breakfasts are wonderful! My husband, daughter and I had been upgraded to a delux room at no extra cost. I have stayed in Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons hotels and this hotel was the equal of them in terms of...

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights while at a conference in Stuttgart. This was one of the most pleasant stays at a hotel I have ever had. I can't say enough how nice and caring the staff are. Our room was great, and the bed was very comfortable. We had an extra large room with a huge...

Everything anyone could want - friendly, very helpful, multi-lingual staff, large rooms, comfortable bed, and spotless, well-equipped bathroom, plus the kind of breakfast that lasts all day! Not the cheapest, but probably the best compromise between price and quality, without unnecessary frills.
