I stayed here during the first weekend of the Christmas Market. Hotels were really busy this weekend, and I couldn't stay in my usual two hotels: Hotel Unger or Motel One. Hotel Rieker was... a disappointment. It's in a good location, but my single room was VERY expensive, and breakfast wasn't included. But what really hit me, literally, was the... More

This hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Fixtures and fitting are dated though and same areas could do with updating. One pillow each on the bed wasn't suffficient so we asked for spares. All the pillows however were very poor !!!!! It wasn't a budget option so paying another 25 euros for breakfast was a bit... This hotel is only suitable if you want just to sleep somewhere for one night near the train station! NOTHING MORE! It is too expensive for what you take! The hotel is very old inside, very old furniture, and very uncomfortable beds and pillows and rooms are quite cold! The staff is friendly enough and this is the only advantage... More

Location is exactly in the city centre with all amenities - restaurant, fast food joints, supermarket, metro, long haul trains etc. There isn't any air-cond in the room we had, so we've to request table fan from the receptionist. So please take note if you are going in summer, we went there in early September, the room was roasting even... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights during the Vasn. The hotel is very centrally located right opposite of the train station and the Stuttgart shopping street is just around the corner. The rooms are very small and the furniture quite dated. Good value for money.

Very good location next to hauptbahnhof(2 minutes on foot) and city centre. Our double room was small and basic but soundproof.Stuff was friendly but the service cood be better(our room had only one pillow, we asked for a second one for two consecutive days but in the end we had to pick one up at the reception ourselves)

The hotel is at perfect location just right to main train station and the city centre. they also provided special discount for parking. Single rooms are too small (especially the bed). I didn't had any issues with noise thanks to the double glasses. Cleaning was ok. Internet was ok, but not fast enough to watch any movies online. All in... More

The rooms are small and the furnishings are run down. Without air conditioning the window needs to be opened bringing in all sorts of street noise. I chose this hotel because of it's location which I feel is the only thing it has going for it.

Heck it was great to be back in Stuttgart and the experience of this hotel took us right back to the Seventies when my Wife and i were in The Royal Air Force in Germany, a lovely old fashioned place with lovely friendly staff, the room was clean and tidy , yes dated but clean and tidy, breakfast was delicious... My partner and I booked this hotel based on the price and location for a 5 night city break. We're not shy of a budget hotel and didn't want to spend a fortune but we regretted not spending a bit more to stay somewhere nicer. We usually do well picking great places to stay. The first night was awful. We... More
