Amazing hotel. Had a wonderful stay. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Hotel staff were wonderful, they were very friendly and helpful. Food in the hotel was fabulous. I would definitely stay there again. Local transport into stuttgart was regular and only took about 15 minutes. Highly recommended

Keep it to yourself otherwise it will always be full and we won't be able to get in! I had given up hope for German hotels ( odd exceptions see my other reviews for 1907 and Banhof Busch). Too often they're dour, boring, depressing, and uninviting. So in an industrial part of the city I wasn't holding out much hope...

the rooms are very clean and seem to be recently renovated, the straff is extreamly friendly and helpful the breakfast reaches from salmon to " weisswürste". and is very enjoyable- the location is a bit outside the center of the town but the metro/s Bahn is close. the only drawback was the wifi which did not work during our stay

My wife and I were in Stuttgart to visit the Mercedes museum and since we were driving, we did not want to deal with traffic in downtown Stuttgart. So we looked for a hotel near the Museum. We could not have been more pleased with the Hotel Weinstube Ochsen, which is only about three kilometers from the museum.. The hotel...

We chose this hotel based on good reviews on TA and a hotel booking site. Good location, not so far from Mercedes-museum. Plus for free parking. Friendly reception staff. The room itself was ok. I didn't like the "oldish" smell from the carpet. Comfortable bed, I liked the big pillows. Bathroom could have been cleaner; some surfaces were quite dusty....

I've stayed at the Ochsen many times now as I am a frequent visitor to the area for business. On my two visits this month I have stayed in their "new house", which is a converted property at the rear of the hotel, hence why I'm posting a second review. These rooms have been created to a high standard, with...

A small and pleasant hotel with a hometown feel perfect for travelers like us who want to experience the German hospitality. At nighttime, the restaurant was bustling with lots of activity indoor and outdoors in the summer patio. It's a very well liked hotspot! Very warm and welcoming. The rooms are simple yet clean with newly renovated bathrooms that suffice....

Stayed for four nights recently. Had a large well appointed room fronting the street - there was no noise from the traffic but the smoke from restaurant patrons smoking below on the footpath meant we had to close our windows at night. Parking was available at the rear of the hotel, on-street parking rarely available. The room was quiet and...

Stayed for business, and whilst understand other reviewers comments regarding location it was very convenient for me. Can be quite noisy at night, however my room was large and well appointed, spotlessly clean. An excellent breakfast also, and ate in the restaurant also which was very good. Will certainly use again, and would recommend to others.
