We stayed at the Post hotel for 2 nights in June. It wasn't very busy at the time, i guess the time of year, which meant the main bar was not open for the duration of our stay. This was a little disappointing as we were excited to have some beers here! The view from our windows of the alps... More

I think the hotel was better than average; it was good but not very good. We were in room 220. A large room - queen in the main room and then a single in a separate area at the entrance to the room. Suitable for two adults travelling with a child (which in this case we had our nephew in... More

Large and centrally located with helpful staff and free parking. But charging 2 Euros an hour for internet? Is that worth the bad taste in my mouth to do so? And powdered eggs in a 4-star hotel? It's the little things that set an establishment apart but these guys don't get the little things.

Large hotel adorned with beautiful murals. Two comfortable restaurants both serving the same food, plenty of it at reasonable prices. Great breakfast buffet. Original room was a bit prison like and overlooking a roof with a kitchen extractor (no 10). Asked to be moved - only room was on top floor and extremely small (no 28).That being said it was... At first I tried to stay at one of the nearby hotels even higher rated on TripAdvisor. I'm very happy they were sold out, and I ended up at Post Hotel. It's perfectly situated in the center of town- important for night time strolling. Nice rooms, cozy. Great breakfast and staff. Would stay there again. Really no negatives.

This hotel is laid out in such a way that the street entrance of the hotel is actually the back of the hotel and the front of the hotel is along the pedestrain street - the main street of the town with cute outdoor restaurants. The hotel is big and a bit dated and old fashoined as others have said... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on a motorbike tour. It is a large hotel with a front that is in the main tourist street and the back of the hotel has the parking and reception area. The parking is not secure however it is off road and you can park close to reception is spaces allow. The rooms are... More

We stayed, along with 2 other couples, at the Post Hotel in Mittenwald. We were helped in with our luggage by Flo, who was very helpful and spoke excellent English. He also helped us with dinner reservations and helped with future reservations. We enjoyed talking to him and he made the experience fun and easy. The balcony room we had... More

Being told we would only get 30 minutes of WiFi and any more would cost extra wasn't the warm welcome we were expecting. There are plenty of good features such as a swimming pool, sauna and balconies with a view to die for. The rooms are spacious and look expensively appointed but having the loo in a separate room with... More

Location is 5 star. Breakfast with lots of options included for the price, but the breakfast room is swelteringly hot. Take your breakfast out into the larger lobby-they don't mind. Can smell like cigarette smoke though as it wafts in when door is opened. WIFI is terrible at the hotel. You pay 7euro for 24 hours for 2 devices. We... More
