Lovely building in old centre. Pleasant food. Surly waitress I thought must just be having a bad day except I'm not alone in my assessment of her. Puzzles me that she got the job. There are plenty of friendly places in this delightful town.

Decent food, local specialities, good beer, nice waiters and nicer waitresses. Good and substantial breakfastSmall old time Gasthaus rooms. Center of Partenkirchen across the street from the church within walking distance of everything. The rooms are decent.

This isn't coming from an actual visit, but I booked through Hotel Info and accidentally booked two months ahead of time. I attempted to ask for a rebooking through Hotel Info and they sent a message to the hotel when they couldn't get ahold of "the boss". 4 days later I had Hotel Info call again and it was the...

We had a lunch in the restaurant, it was in a nice building. The food was OK, but unfortunately the waitress was absolutely unfriendly to the customers. Never had such bad experience. Never again. There are plenty of nice restaurants and friendly people in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

If you want a quaint German hotel like it was in the olden days, try Gasthof zum Rassen. Our room for 4 on the first floor shared the bathroom with the 12 other rooms. So if you needed it urgently when someone was showering, good luck. More like a hostel than a hotel. Good street party at Christmas.

Came here with a group of 6. All the food looked amazing. Potato cakes with applesauce are top notch. Farmers sharing platter is epic (better be hungry😜) Apple strudel to finish it off was fantastic. Kaspastvin sp? Was great like Mac and cheese with crispy bacon and onions Worth the visit.

We did not stay here but we had the privilege of eating here. A traditional menu is offered. We sat outside and the beautiful weather added to the pleasure of the evening. The service was very good. The server continually went in and out to make sure we had what we needed. The food was outstanding and the prices were...

3rd visit in 12 months. We live coming here. The meals are hearty and flavorful with very large portions. The Schweins haxn and a large salad easily fed two in our party. The house specialties (mushroom) on the first page are delicious. This first page is not translated into English but don't skip it. Super comfort food deserts. Worth the...

I highly recommend visiting Partenkirchen, which is the older part of the city. We were walking in the old town and needed a place to stay. Gasthof sum Rassen was right there, and they had a room. We parked in the underground parking garage behind the hotel (more about his later). The room was spacious but ordinary. We were surprised...

We ate lunch there and frankly it was disgusting and overpriced. Ordering roasted pork is one of the safest bets in Bavaria because they have really mastered the art of serving it to perfection. In this restaurant I knew we were in trouble when the menus came covered in grease and what I hope was a small piece of congealed...
