Detailed Reviews
we arrived early and we could get a room.
internet in the room was free and the quality was perfect.
TV in room was perfect.
The bathroom was old and function was poor so was the shower quite of time and leek overall one must keep in hand to can shower well, the WC was leek and noisy every three minutes.
Pity was that the bar and restaurant after 4pm was open and one could eat after 5.30pm.
The menu was poor a kind of snacks however the beer and the service was good.
Breakfast was normal .
Good enough for a night!!!

The hotel is family owned and has about 100 rooms. The room I had was simple but clean comfortable, the breakfast was nice.
The only problem may appear if you want to pay with card, because only some of the employee are trained to this operation.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the village centre and some two minutes from the mainhighway. The highway takes us from the Netherlands to Austria for our skying trip. The hotel is simple but very nice to visit. We used a family room for five and that was very nice. Clean large beds, nice clean new be it small bathroom. Great shower. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The menu was simple German and very good value for money. Friendly owner and great staff were welcoming us and serving always with a smile. We even enjoyed the Sylvester Abend in the restaurant where a group of elderly locals had their annual festivity. Good to be present, enjoy the company!! Just do not go there for youngster like disco evening, you probaby have to go tocthe next city.
All in all, simple great rooms, clean, good food, good service, German friendiness allover. And finally value for money all the way.
Definitley recemmendable for stopover, in winter and probably insummer also.

This hotel is not very reliable. Rather unprofessional. I had reserved rooms for my future husband and myself, parents and siblings six months ago. And now, three weeks before the wedding, they're simply cancelling my rooms because Schaeffler is holding a training course. Well, it's not the person/guest that counts here, but the person who apparently pays more. A bride and groom have nothing better to do shortly before the wedding. So if you're looking for professionalism and reliability, you've come to the wrong place. And if you complain about this, you'll be yelled at in an outrageous way.

My husband and I travel through Germany every year on our summer holiday and stop over somewhere for one night.
This year we came across this hotel, thinking it was suitable as not too far off our route.
As we arrived late we had an hour left for dinner service.
All the tables which were not occupied where full with used plates and glasses, but we sat and waited to be approached.
15 mins... nobody came... so we approached them to order a drink and asked for a menu.
We were told to go back to our seat and they will serve us.... 10 mins later....
Ordered our drink and was told 3 options for dinner... pretty basic.
10 mins later they came back as they forgot our order!!
Went to pay for dinner with card, they only take cash.
Room was comfortable and shower was good pressure, so that’s a bonus.
Breakfast was poor. A roll, selection of ham and one cheese. Do they not eat salad??
Went to pay at checkout with card.... only take cash!! And no invoices. €70.
Will not be returning

We stayed here en route back to the UK travelling from Croatia. It's a family run hotel in a small place. Plenty of car parking spaces. The restaurant serves traditional Bavarian food. Very limited menu but the food is freshly cooked. Great local Bavarian beer. The breakfast was very good. Bedrooms are typical rural German. Newly refurbished bathroom was very good. One thing to be aware of - CASH ONLY. Price is good, 70 euro for a double room inclusive of breakfast.

We were travelling down through Germany and came off the autobahn, this hotel is less than a kilometre fron the junction. We were delighted with our double room and breakfast for €70. The hotel is family owned and is quite large with about 120 rooms to handle guests from local business. It seemed like our room was brand new, all beautifully done, the breakfast and evening dinner was lovely. Just be wary that they do not take credit or debit cards, cash only.. We would certainly use again.

Stayed here for a layover stop. Room was basic, but OK. Room was just under the roof, and no airco, so quite hot since 30°C outside. Bathroom with a shower. Breakfast buffet OK. Paid € 90 for 3 persons bedroom (2 adults + 1 child 3y). Friendly staff at the reception. Free parking and wifi.

+1
Things were going OK here (we stayed for 5 nights over Easter) until 2 days before departure. At 7 am in the morning I was woken by drilling, hammering and lots of noise in the corridor outside as workmen started their building work in the rooms all around me. We had seen that they had prepped the area for renovation but we didn't dream that they would actually start work whilst there were guests in the corridor. The whole corridor should have been sealed off but they got greedy and booked the rooms. Outside in the corridor there were building materials everywhere, the place stank of glue and overall it wasn't a very nice environment to be in at all. We think they probably were in breach of health & safety regulations. The worse bit was when we talked to them to complain, they thought that there was nothing wrong in subjecting their guests to this and thought it was completely normal. They were supposed to wait until 8 am the next day before starting work again but they started at 7.30. I will never set foot in that place ever again.

I stayed in this hotel for 8 days and really loved it. Located outside the main city of Erlangen, you can take the public bus. It will take you around 15-20 minutes to Erlangen Bahnhof (train station), which is the central city. The train station is near the Rathaus (city hall), government offices, Siemens offices, restaurants, department stores, etc.
The hotel is 3-storeys and each room is very nice. Mine was a double bed with TV, wi-fi, hot shower. Other rooms (occupied by my friends) varied from single bed (very small room) and a bigger room than mine.
The breakfast is also nice and you can request for special order. My group don't eat pork, so we request for no-pork meals. The owner and staffs are also helpful. The only problem is most of them don't speak English so you must be able to speak a little Deutsch. At least you can communicate on directions, requests, schedules, etc.
The hotel is also near a stationary shop, postal service, bakery and small mini market.
The public bus route is on the next corner, so you need to walk around 5 minutes. Pay attention on bus schedule, as they differ on holidays and Sundays. I suggest you apply for travel bus subscription, which is cheaper and you can buy it at their office in Erlangen Bahnhof.
they don't have swimming pool.
