Four nights in Tennenlohe is enough for anybody, but if you must, the Albertinum is a good choice. Large, modern rooms, no shortage of hot water, quiet, clean, and friendly. Tennenlohe is tiny, so the location of the hotel is almost irrelevant. You can walk the perimeter of the village in 30 minutes.

The staff at the Albertinum are almost freakishly friendly, and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

Can't comment on the price compared to the few other hotels in the immediate vicinity. I can say that you'll be happy for the beer fridge in the stairwell by your 4th night.

Stayed here recently for three nights on business. Large room (Single XL), comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Room even had a balcony, but didn't really want to use it as it was snowing really hard :-) Breakfast buffet was ok, with just a couple of hot items and the usual cold cuts, yogurt, fruit, cereal and bread. Very good selection of teas and the coffee/espresso/latte machine was pretty fancy too.

Had problems with my internet access (very poor signal) in the first room I was assigned to and the two young receptionists were eager to help fix it. They finally moved me into a room across the hallway where the signal was a lot stronger. No issues after that.

Only negative: the hotel is in a business park area and eating options are rather limited in the evenings. There is a nice German restaurant as part of the Tennerhof Hotel down the road and a surprisingly authentic Italian restaurant (Adriana) across the main road, but still within walking distance. Normally, I would say that you'd need a car, but I did not rent one due to the snow forecast and was very glad that I did not. Didn't miss it, since my workplace was literally across the street from the hotel.

Large room and bathroom, clean and comfortable. Located in a quiet street - close to the autobahn and only 15 minutes from the airport!

I had to work at a business in Tennenlohe for a few days and stayed at the Albertinum.
The rooms are amazingly large for the price - almost like mini apartments with plenty of space, sofa area, desk area, large bath/shower room. Breakfast was lovely and we were met with super friendly but not intrusive service.
This will be my first choice on a return visit.

This hotel, whilst being a bit apart-hotel like, is great. The rooms are very large with most amenities. Really nice and quiet with great window shutters for darkness.

The only issue I came across was that there was no iron and ironing board in the room.

I stayed here for two weeks on business. The hotel is in Tennenlohe which is a suburb of Erlangen, and very close to the exit from B4 and the A3 highways. It took me about 10 min to work each day by car which was perfect. The rooms are quite large, with two twin beds, a sofa, a coffee table, a work table and a kitchenette which includes two hot plates, a sink and a mini fridge. The bathroom has a large tub and a sink with a large countertop.

Breakfast is served in the morning from 7 on weekdays and 8 on weekends and is quite substantial with eggs, meats, cheeses, sausage and the usual assortment of fruit, yogurt, breads, jams etc. There is a coffee machine that makes coffee, espresso, capuccino and such. Some mornings they also had cakes and pastries though that is not really breakfast food for me. For 5 euros, this was excellent value for money. In the evening, the bar is open for beer and wine and some small meals.

The hotel has a sauna and some fitness equipment though I did not use this.

An Autohof with a Shell filling station, a Norma supermarket and a Markgrafen drink market is about 800 m away. Opposite the Shell station is an Asian + Pizza restaurant Hoang Kim - this had good food and great value for money as well. There are other restaurants within a few hundred meters.

One unusual thing for me was that on weekend evenings, there was no one at the front desk. Also missing were some essentials from the Kitchenette such as a proper knife, a chopping board or a colander. But these are small shortcomings that are easily remedied.

Overall - highly recommended, especially if you intend to stay long and can get a weekly rate.

I stayed there for a night on a businesstrip. My room was large and even contained a kitchenette. Sadly the whole hotel is a bit worn down. The staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast was ok but was only available until 0930h when they started taking our plates away...

We stopped here en route to Austria and it’s a great place. Friendly staff, clean rooms and fab breakfast. For the price it’s amazing. Please don’t be put off by the fact it’s unmanned some of the time. Keys are easy to access. Secure underground parking is included in the price too.
Local Germán restaurant 2 mins away with good food, wine and beer!

Simple, warm, clean and professional in every aspect. Everything dealt with a smile. One of the largest bathrooms that I have come across, and the room was spacious as well. It could probably do with a greater breakfast, but that is just me.
