Located somewhat outside the city center (at walking distance).
Nice hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. Room was spatious and the basics a business traveller needs. Clean rooms. Nice breakfast.
There's also a restaurant, so if you prefer, you can dine at the hotel as well.
Maybe just one thing that could be improved: having some international tv channels.

This is a very quaint, nice hotel. I loved the outdoor sitting area for breakfast or drinks. It was not air conditioned and I had to buy a fan, not a problem, just personal comfort. Americans: there are no washcloths. They don't change the towels daily even if you lay them on the floor. Very nice staff and very clean rooms. They state the outside dining area is closed by 10 pm but my husband had to ask some people to be quiet about 12 midnight as you sleep with the window open - he did not contact the manager as I'm sure it would have been taken care of AND the people did quieten down - they were just visiting and our room opened to the outdoor dining area so I'm sure it's not a problem in other areas of the hotel. VERY GOOD breakfast - good coffee. I Really enjoyed coming in and enjoying a drink in the outside area.

Hi, i came to this hotel for a second time. Room is ok. Shower bathroom fine. A little basic compared to the fourstar hotels i see most of the time but fine. Breakfast was fine as well. What i liked most was the jogging tracks which are relatively near by. Restaurant next doors is , to my opinion, not so greeat.

Do yourself a favour and don't waste your time, money and nerves to stay there. It is not worth it.
They are very unreliable, unorganised, rude and racist.

We booked the room after a long drive with two small kids, and when we got there, the hotel was locked, and no one was there. The poor bartender from the next door had to help us and open the door to what was supposed to be our room, just to find out it was already occupied. After trying many they found one empty room where we had to do the bed, clean the dirty sink in the bathroom and it was very dusty.
The next day, we were greeted by a very rude and racist receptionist. She didn't apologise for their bad hospitality. She actually accused us that we are not as well prepared as German people when travelling. She promised us a call from the manager, which we still didn't get after 6 months of waiting.
This is by far the worst experience we ever had in many years of travelling through the Germany and around the world.

On arrival, we were greeted by a delightful young man who showed us around the hotel.

The room was warm and cosy and comfortable.

The breakfast was nice and the staff were very welcoming and friendly.

There is a restaurant on site.. which has plenty of choice

The title is almost the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. The room was also rather big, in contrast to the bathroom which was literally tiny. In general everything looks and feels worn off. The cleaning personnel left (all?) the room keys unattended on a table close to the stairwell, it would have been easy to pick some an have a look what's there. The breakfast was ok, but also below average.

It's a 3-story building but there is no elevator. The facilities are old. The corners in my room are not clean. But the most ridiculous is how stingy the hotel is on little amenities.

I forgot my toothpaste and asked a woman with a manager tag if she could help. She said yes, then took the little tube of toothpaste out of a toothbrush set and gave it to me. Since I would stay in the hotel for 3 nights, I asked for another one. She promptly said no and suggested me to get it at the supermarket nearby. I think a simple NO at the beginning would have made me feel better.

There were two bottles of free sparkling water when I checked in. But the supply would not be refilled in the following days after I finished the first two. And there was shower gel in room but no shampoo.

Not so sure what the hotel wants to achieve with such stinginess.

Firstly, I don't believe you can book via web, which causes the problem. So you confirm via e-mail, all is good. They ask for credit card number over e-mail (which is definitely not a good thing these days - I work in IT security so I know this ;-).

So I confirm with address details and ask if I can relay number over phone. When they respond - and I do give details, I get an e-mail the next day to say "sorry dude, the room we reserved is gone".

All in all - it's probably a good thing since I got a better hotel elsewhere in Erlangen.

Be wary.

"Rooms are very quiet, because of the quiet area, but some of them have a wonderful terrace. It is very useful when it is sunny day in winter or autumn. So if you are booking through phone, ask about terrace you might possibly get"
