Our family of four stayed here for two nights. We ate dinner twice in the restaurant and enjoyed the food, view, and hospitality of Ralph, the restaurant manager, immensely. I would recommend against the castle package just to give yourself the opportunity to order what you want off the menu (instead of the prix fixe). We didn't splurge for a...

We splurged and stayed 2 nights with the "Castle Package" which included a fabulous 5 course dinner, castle tickets, horse drawn carriage ride, family room with sitting area, breakfast. The hotel is charming and the service was supurb. There is nothing to do once the castles close though, so this is a place to relax. A bit pricey, but it was...

This hotel was a nice surprise. It was very elegant with nice furniture and appointments. It was clean. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding in an equally elegant dining area with plenty of help nearby keeping everything fresh. The wireless internet was a bit spotty in one of our rooms at the end of the hallway but worked fine...

Great location. The hotel, so, so... We stayed there for just one night, and considering this restricted period, the Muller Hotel was a little disappointing for us. On average it is good, but not as charming as it looks on their website. The rooms are spacious, but not charming and without a minibar, which I consider an essencial comfort if...

Hotel Muller is a great choice for staying in Hohenschwangau. The staff is superb -- they go out of their way to help you! Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was quite good. You can remain parked at the hotel while visiting the castles the next day.

We chose this hotel based on all good reviews on trip advisor and were not disappointed. We had a family room, all four single bed in one room and a separate sitting room including TV with views of Neuschwanstein Castle. We arrived late, had dinner along the way. The reception staff were very helpful, we booked both castle tours with...

We stayed here with our two young children and loved it. We booked the package with dinner and castle tours and were not dissapointed. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make my children feel special. The castle tours were conveniently booked when we wanted and tranportation to the castle was very easy. We had...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Muller lies at the end of the “Romantic Road” through Germany, right beneath Hohenschwangau Castle, the childhood and youth residence of King Ludwig II, his “poetic retreat”. It makes the ideal base for day trips to the surrounding area. One possible excursion is the “Castle Tour”: Linderhof – Herrenchiemsee – Nymphenburg. Or you could get to know the Pfaffenwinkel, which literally means “priests’ corner”, with its ancient testimonies to church architecture, such as St. Coloman, the Pilgrimage Church of Wies, Ettal Abbey, the pilgrimage churches of Andechs, Rottenbuch, and Altenstadt, and many more. Or visit the idyllic nearby villages: Fussen, with its historical old town; Oberammergau, famous for its passion play, or the world-famous winter sports villages of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Oberstdorf, etc. ... more   less
