Very clean. Staff were very nice and friendly. Also given a city map on arrival which was so useful. No formal reception but there is a cafe below. There are key safes/number to call if your out of hours which might be a bit inconvenient. Couldn't find anyone to check out with in the morning so had to leave the... More

I stayed there with three friends just for one night. I thought the hotel was just fine! It's true that they don't actually have a reception but the bar, which is were they do the check in, is just in front of the hotel. The guy that received us was very helpful and ready for us at any moment. We... More

This place is great for travellers and backpackers who are staying in Munich for a few days or possibly just a week. Both the price and the location are spot on for someone only needing a room for passing by. For the price you pay, the room and facilities are great. The added style and touch of design to the... Our room was on the ground floor so we didn't have to go up any stairs with our bags, room was spacious and quiet, reception was closed but keys were left for us in a locked box Neighborhood was a little sketchy after dark

I was concerned checking in after hours would be difficult (the check-in times, location in the cafe and instruction to contact the hotel in advance were clearly noted when I booked), but the number is also posted at the door and they give you a code for the key by phone, so it was quite easy [I'd suggest just sending... Good proximity to the main station. Nice little cafe, good food, rich breakfast with decent coffee. Friendly staff who were willing to listen to our feedback and comments. Love the design inside the hotel with the different themes and decorations of the many angels, old photographs, artifacts, quotes on the wall and the small heart shapes you find here and... More

Interesting for the thematic rooms, close to train station, 5-8 mins walk Only had a short stay for one night, didn't try the breakfast Check-In process not very smooth as the day we arrived was public holiday. Better call the owner as he stayed at the cafe nearby (closed early during holiday) Check-in earlier if you want to meet the... More

Check in and check out were awkward as it was set on a specific time period! There wasn't anybody at the hotel 24x7, so if you are arriving after 6 (I think) then you need to ring a number to get somebody to come to the hotel. Luckily for me I arrived half an hour before this time. I was... More

Someone had a fun time decorating the rooms!! We loved the personal touches on the rooms and in the halls. Park your car and walk to the attractions or take the streetcar which is very convenient to the hotel. Perfect for Octoberfest or any time of year. Just because I have nice things to say doesn't mean I have anything... More

Reception is in the Camera Cafe as people mentioned. Booked in in quickly and no fuss and rooms are behind this building. Each room is themed and I stayed in room 4 which had a global theme of some globes stuck onto the wall, and some blue paint. Quirky, but gave it character. Importantly the room was spotless, and they... More
