Clean, simple but fine room. Bathroom needs renovation. Friendly helpfull staff. Rooms were very hot, even in spring, and have no airconditioning so I doubt if I would stay here in summertime. Breakfast is OK but quite expensive. You better have breakfast at tribeco, which is a very nice coffeeshop / lunchroom, only 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Thank you so much for your review of our hotel including your honorably mentioned words to our staff. We are really sorry that we have no air condition all over the house cause the hotel was built in the eighties. So we offer during the summer time fans for our guests available at the reception. Of course a fan is...

Relocating from overseas we were supposed to stay 2 months in this hotel until our container arrives in Munich. We were given 2 connecting rooms, which was apparently the only accommodation they could offer for a family of 4 including 2 young children. The 2 rooms were tiny with sleeping areas in mezzanines which could only be accessed using stairs...

When we booked an apartment in Derag Livinghotel Karl Theodor, we were excited that we found a good place to stay in München. When we checked in, we were informed that our assigned apartment was in a different building. Once in the apartment building, we were welcomed by a strong cigarette smoke smell and the sound of a man's constant...

I have stayed at the Karl Theodor so many times now in a period of 20 years that sometimes I think it is my second home, no, I'm kidding. It is situated in a quiet area, easily accessible with tram 20 and 21 to Moosach. The stop is called Olympiapark West. The hotel is currently renovating its rooms. If you...

A comfortable hotel in a quiet location out of the city. Travel to and from city by underground. Station is close by. Supermarket is next door. Don't stay on the 4th floor which has steep staircase. Breakfast is ordinary. Reception staff are very helpful.

Thank you for taking time to share your feedback with the honorably mentioned words to our staff and the nice description of the hotel and its environs. Fine that you enjoyed our quiet location. On the 4th floor you stayed in one of our very favored Maisonette-Apartments with roof terrace. Located in the main building, on two floors, with extra...

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with the honorably mentioned words to our staff! We are really sorry that you didn’t get any Weißwürste – maybe you overlooked the chafing dish at the buffet with Weißwürsten and scrambled eggs. But why you did not ask for Weißwürste, why you did not ask for scrambled eggs and...

Stayed here for a visit to Munich and the Oktoberfest. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and contained a small kitchenette with fridge. The location is in a residential area with a grocery literally next door which was great for keeping food costs down during our visit. The staff was friendly and was very accommodating. Tip: be aware that most hotels...

August can be a difficult month to find a reasonable hotel in Munich. Luckily we found a room here. This is the first week of August and everywhere is busy, so we had a room facing into the afternoon sun, which made the room very hot. The hotel has no air-conditioning in the bedrooms. Spent 3 weeks there on a business trip. Unluckily, the rooms weren't very nice. The walls had dark marks on them, furniture kind of old and the room smelled of something weird. No air conditioning also, when the sun was up the place turned into an oven. Heard that they're renovating it, hopefully they will turn it into something better.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. You are right that in some cases the interiors are old. That’s why we started in November 2014 the first part of renovation. A complete floor has been updated, improved and refreshed. Currently we renovate the next floor and so step by step the complete hotel. We are really sorry...
