Book this hotel for one week trip. The hotel is located just opposite from the central train station. You can walk across the road or go through by the underground passage which you turn left and walk less than 50m. The room is consider big enough for me as i travel solo. There is no air-con, just a ceiling fan. The toilet is huge but no amenities like toothbrush, paste, shaver & hair comb. There is a lot of varieties for breakfast. But I get sick of eating as the foods are the same everyday. You can purchase train ticket or city pass through the desk counter but the ticket is not validate. Walking to marienplatz is around 10 to 15 min depending on your pace.

Hello loworlds, Thank you very much for your visit and your review. For our guests, we have a selection of hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, shaving foam, etc., in the glass display case at our reception. Best value for money hotel. Hard to find fault . Staff were friendly , helpful and polite. Breakfast had a very large selection and we could not find a fault. The location is excellent. Across the road from Munich Central Railway Station and 10 minute walk to Marienplatz, the centre of Munich. The only letdown was that there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. But we were supplied with a kettle on request. 100% value for money. And to our surprise, we were given a gift wrapped bar of chocolate on leaving. Thank you.

Just a brief visit and needing a hotel to stay which had to be near the Hbf in Munich for an early train. Decent enough, clean and tidy order but maybe a little more than I would have paid but it was what I needed.

Location is great travel-wise, right next to the train station (providing that you travel by train), but not so great considering the elements that crowd the station neighborhood. You learn to walk fast in no time. The room is pretty basic and nice, no air conditioning which isn't a big deal in October. Breakfast is quite decent, lots of variety in classic bavarian + continental style. Friendly service, even when housekeeping accidentally entered the room when it was occupied, early in the morning. Would I visit again? Definitely yes, more positives than negatives.

Heading to a new city, I rely completely on the reviews of others. I booked this hotel based on that and am so glad I did! Outstanding in every aspect! Directly across the street from the central train station- on the same side as the awesome restaurant Munchner Stubn. The hotel seems small and nondescript from outside appearances, but once inside it's boutique style comes across with beautiful stained glass in the lobby, absolute wonderful and kind front desk staff and welcoming multilingual signage. Our reservationist Adrian was by far the best in any hotel I've ever stayed! The rooms are spacious for European with needed amenities like shampoo, hair dryer, fans, and towels. Abundant breakfast buffet with fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, breads, eggs, and hot, delicious coffee. Our server Hocine looked for us all 3 mornings - he was fantastic! Housekeeper on the 3rd floor was delightful and so accommodating. Walking distance to all city center attractions and Oktoberfest. Ubahn is outside front door. Overall 10/10. We will absolutely stay here again.

My husband and I planned a mosty last minute trek to Oktoberfest and found rooms here. Don't let the proximity to the train station sway you--this place was above and beyond what I expected. The service was OUSTANDING. Everyone working there was so kind (even if we saw some travelers that were just jerks to them). Couldn't be a better location. We asked for more pillows (but that was our experience all over Europe). We added breakfast--totally worth it!! Just note the bathroom supplies are limited to soap/shampoo so plan on bringing whatever else you need. We'd 100% go back anytime!

The hotel seems to be worried about not having airconditioning. While we were ther temperatures were quite warm, 30 Deg C day and 18-20 night. The ceiling fan was so efficient that we both neded the duvet ! The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfasts were good and with lots of variety. The room is very well thought out. There is ample shelf and hanging space, a safe that will take a large laptopA nice touch is the provision of two flat pieces of furniture that take opened suitcases. A 66cm in hallway and carry-on in bedroom area. really nice if one is only there for a few days and don't want to unpack everything. There is a nice workarea, with good WiFi and a comfortable padded chair and a puff of an idea height for working. There are plenty of eating places close by, we only tried The Munchner Stubn and the Ca Doro. One each side of the hotel entrance. At weekends booking seems to be needed, at least at Ca Dora. The greatest feature of the hotel is it's location, right opposite the main railway station, (with lots of taxis) and a few metres from the nearest Metro station.

A well located hotel with kind and helpful staff and spacious rooms with lots of storage. The breakfast was impressive and varied with good quality items. Although the beds were narrow, which seems to be the trend in Europe , and the hotel was not air conditioned, there was a ceiling fan and a fridge, all very helpful.

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property right across the street from the train station and with a u-bahn entrance maybe 20 metres from the entrance. The breakfast was four or five stations with tons of options, including oatmeal. The triple was well situated. My sons got the queen bed in the main room and I took the single bed in the other room. Courtyard view room - plenty quite to sleep with windows open on Saturday and Sunday night. The website makes a big deal about there being no air conditioning, but as it turns out, none of our lodging had air conditioning in Berlin, Vienne, Nernberg, Fussen and Bacharach. This property was the only one that clearly stated no AC. Great central location for train travelers, however when I rented a car just before checkout, it was a tight two or three parking space courtyard type parking/drop off area. Also large lobby - lots of sofas - with vending machines on the second floor. This property reminded me of the downtown Munich hotel I stayed in for three weeks when I was nine years old - good memories.

The staff at the front desk are friendly, helpful and awesome! Special mention to Sara, Mirjana and the handyman who tried to fix my broken suitcase! They all had warm smiles on their faces and made you feel so welcome! We were a group of 14 Canadians. Rooms were clean and a great buffet breakfast. Location is also excellent as its across from the train station. They also had a common room upstairs where you could get takeout and eat as a group which was great! Would highly recommend! Thank you for a great visit to Munich- we were there for 3 nights and four people were there for 5 nights.
