I stayed in this hotel over 30 years ago and it has stood the test of time very well. Wonderful breakfast nice clean updated rooms. Great location close to the central train station and the old town area attractions.
I've been there for a weekend in Munich and I can say that was really perfect to stay there. Nice staff and accommodation. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. Next time for sure I will try to stay there.

I would recommend taking the train (S-Bahn). There are two lines, but you can take either because both lines make a stop at the Munich Central Train Station. This hotel is directly across the street from the train station. The train travel time is about 40 minutes. The fare for two adults was around 20 to 25 Euros.
