Good side- nice older hotel, good neighborhood, excellent biergarten nextdoor (actually your choice of 3) with excellent food. Breakfast is OK. Bad side- no AC, small rooms, desk staff was a little snooty and struggled to understand what we were trying to communicate in English. Directions for how to enter the property after hours were so confusing that we gave... More

The staff were very nice and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was mediocre, but plentiful. Our only real problem and it was a big problem was that we were on the 4th floor and the elevator didn't work. We were up and down at least four times a day and after all the walking we did at the Christmas Market... More

An experience that I never want to repeat! Luckily just one night! Moreover the lift is broken. It is like a test of your patience. The company booked it. If it were a private trip, I would definitely refuse to stay here. How come they don't have a receptionist who can explain you the lift is broken in English. Awful!!!

My boss booked a room at this hotel for 2 nights. The pictures looked amazing and I didn't look far from the center... The hotel is quite old, the furniture, Tvs etc are very old, still clean, so was good. The staff could speak very little English and when I asked for recommendations they had no answers... The internet situation... More

The hotel is nice, quiet and old-fashioned, 30 minutes from the old town, by walk. The service was not perfect at all (the guy at the reception didn't even try to help me with my luggage), The bathroom was surely too old and too clean, No hair dryer, no slippers, no bath robes... But still, this place is not bad,... More

The hotel can be reached on foot from the main train station and the city center. Central heating for the room didn't work, so they provided electric battery, so air in the room was very dry. I asked for hairdryer more than once. Excellent beer restaurant just across the street. It is not bad hotel, I would stay there again,... More

Stayed for business. Facilities are okayish. Positives are clearly location, and staff was very friendly (reception, kitchen) in a personal way, not like those big chains. How ever the hotel is a bit dated. For Munich the price was okay (I went during trade fair).

Close to the U Bahn station. Rooms are small but clean. Getting a taxi around the hotel is difficult so book in advance. Best location for Oktoberfest. From city center just one U Bahn station away. Breakfast spread is not too great and the lift was scary.

We booked and paid a room from this hotel in early may. When we arrived, there wasn't any room for us. The man in reception said that we had to go to the next hotel named Seibel. We went. The room there was without toilet and shower. We went back to Hotel Krone and said that we don't accept situation.... More
